Donny Deutsch has a big fear about an impending jihadist attack. He is worried that jihadists would instigate terrorism because they supposedly think it would help Donald Trump win. He made this assertion not once but twice on With All Due Respect. Deutsch begins worrying about a Trump victory due to jihadists at the 1:10 mark of the following video.
DONNY DEUTSCH: ...This is the scary part which would help him. It's hard to even talk about it. Unfortunately if we have a horrible terrorist attack near the election which scares me because if you're the jihadists you want him in there. And then do you then cause one? It it's close enough people react purely with their right brains. Let's put this lunatic in there. And the very thing his temperament almost goes on its head. And that scares the bejeesus out of me but...
At that point, Mark Halperin performed something of an intervention and directed Deutsch away from his visions of an imagined Trump apocalypse aided for some reason by the jihadists. Despite this, Deutsch soon returned to his personal nightmare.
DEUTSCH: I'm going to say again as a dad. I'm just very afraid there's a self-fulfilling prophecy here. Because this is a once in a lifetime chance for our enemies to put a guy like that into office. They've been waiting for this and it scares the hell out of me.
