CNN correspondent Suzanne Malveaux was shocked, SHOCKED that anybody could dare interrupt Hillary Clinton. In fact, Malveaux acted as if the Black Lives Matter protesters interrupting Hillary's speech in Atlanta today was a unique historical event that was completely unprecedented. You have to check out the video below to get full enjoyment of Malveaux's unintentional comedy performance as she registers extreme shock for The Lead.
This was really an extraordinary moment. I have never seen anything like this. I mean it was actually really shocking because this was a program...African Americans for Hillary Clinton. It was very organized. There were a lot of high profile African Americans. You had NBA star Grant Hill. You had Congressman John Lewis. You had the Atlanta mayor, Mayor Kasim Reed. All of them introducing Hillary Clinton. Some really big names here. Five minutes into the speech is when they came very surprisingly, about ten to a dozen or so and interrupted shouting "Black Lives Matter!" As Hillary Clinton at first addressed them or tried to address them saying she met with the organization, please give her a chance to express herself and they talked right over her. This went on, Jim, for close to 30 minutes. It was extremely distracting. A lot of people just looking not quite knowing what to do. At some point the congressman as well as the mayor, both of them, trying to convince these protesters to stop. They would not stop...
WOW! Who ever heard of such a thing? So let me get this right, Suzanne. Black Lives Matter actually interrupted a speech by a presidential candidate? Yup! Completely unprecedented...except for that time the same group interrupted a Seattle speech by Bernie Sanders in August and hijacked his microphone as you can see below.
Oh, and then there was the time a few weeks before that when Black Lives Matter jumped on the stage screaming at Martin O'Malley as you can see in yet another video.
One has to wonder just how much attention Suzanne Malveaux actually pays to current events. I mean she is supposed to be a news correspondent. If she did just a bit of homework, Malveaux might lose her laughable attitude of extreme surprise that (GASP!) Black Lives Matter interrupted a candidate. Oh, the shock!
