It’s becoming quite apparent the American people aren’t as concerned about the government shutdown as the Democrats and their media minions would like people to be.
On the CBS Late Show Friday, when host David Letterman asked the studio audience if they were worried about the shutdown, they collectively said “No” (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
Early in his opening monologue, Letterman asked, “You folks realize that the government has shut down?”
This evoked a good number of Yeahs from the studio audience.
“Are you worried about the government shutdown?” Letterman followed up.
“No” the crowd responded.
“You kind of like, it’s sort of like, ‘Good! Who wants you in business,’” Letterman commented.
This elicited applause from the audience.
Readers are reminded that on Tuesday when Jay Leno asked his Tonight Show audience, "How many are worried about the government shutdown," nobody responded.
Doesn’t seem like all the hysteria from the left and their media minions is having the desired effect, does it?
