The liberal ladies of ABC’s The View were so sycophantic for former President Joe Biden that they kicked off their Tuesday episode by attacking CNN anchor Jake Tapper for daring to write a book about the cover-up of Biden’s senility. They denounced the book, couldn’t understand why it was needed at all, and, according to Tapper himself, The View was refusing to have him on the show to discuss it.
“Why is this important to know now?!” shouted moderator Whoopi Goldberg. “Because it just seems to me, you know, we got lot of stuff to be concerned about at the moment.”
Betraying how rotted her own brain possibly was Joy Behar rattled off a list of Trump administration “atrocities” including cutting wasteful government spending, cutting foreign aid, and reordering trade agreements.
“When is Jake tapper going to write a book about the cognitive decline of the person in charge right now?!” Behar shrieked while waving her arms in the air (pictured above).
Faux conservative Alyssa Farah Griffin spoke up to defend her CNN colleague. “I don't think there is anyone who could credibly accuse, especially Jake Tapper of not critically covering Donald Trump for the last ten years,” she accurately noted. Although, she did falsely claim Tapper was “one of the top journalists in this country.”
A top journalists would not be part of the reason why CNN was found liable for malicious defamation.
Farah Griffin attempt to call out their hypocrisy of claiming to stand with journalists only to condemn them when they reported about Democrats being bad. She was repeatedly interrupted and shouted over by the show’s oldest crones, with Behar denouncing the idea of CNN journalists writing books:
FARAH GRIFFIN: And this is where I take issue with some folks on the left. They’re, ‘we stand with journalists. We stand with the free press.’ When they're going after their opponents like Donald Trump. But when they critically cover Democrats, it’s, ‘Oh, no, they're lying. It's fairy dust. It's not true.’
GOLDBERG (interrupts): I just want to point out that was his granddaughter talking.
FARAH GRIFFIN: With the family I take exception. Anyone is going to defend their family. With political figures coming out and attacking these two journalists, how is that pro-democracy? How is it pro-fourth estate when you say, ‘oh, but when you come after Democrats.’
BEHAR (interrupting): Well, wait a second. I saw him the other day and all he’s doing is hawking his book on CNN and he’s flanked by other people, Brian Stelter and Van Jones, also hawking his book! When did CNN become a place to hawk your book?! Is Wolf Blitzer coming out with a cookbook?!
This hatred for Tapper and his book about the cover-up of Biden’s senility tracked with Tapper’s recent public comments where he disclosed that The View was refusing to have him on.
“We have gone to them any number of times and said we would love to come on the show to discuss,” Tapper told podcaster Megyn Kelly. He remarked that The View was happy to talk about the book without him and co-author Alex Thompson there, “but they’re declining to have us on to discuss it, which is regrettable because I think this is an important thing for people to come to terms with when it comes to The View.”
In an interview with Mediaite published Thursday, Tapper quipped: “We’re glad that they’re enjoying the content and thank them for selling books for us.” Further adding: “But why would they not want to talk to us about it? It’s perplexing. I legitimately do not understand any intellectually honest argument as to why they wouldn’t.”

GOLDBERG: So, should anonymous sources who talked to Tapper have spoken up about their concerns while he was in office -- while he was in still in office? My other question is why is this important to know now?
[Applause]
SUNNY HOSTIN yeah.
JOY BEHAR: That's what some people to know.
GOLDBERG: Because it just seems to me, you know, we got lot of stuff to be concerned about at the moment.
BEHAR: Shall I list them? Shall I list them?
GOLDBERG: Yeah, please.
BEHAR: So here’s the Trump's atrocities. I’m going to list them for you. Cutting Medicaid. Well, this is what we're concerned about now.
GOLDBERG: I got you.
BEHAR: Cutting Medicaid, slashing funding for cancer research, rising prices because of tariffs. Dismantling USAID which helps children and people who are poor around the world. Fears of recession. Destroying due process. Ending birthright citizens. Dismantling the Department of Education. Rolling back regulations on air and water quality. Destroying our relationships with allies like Canada and the U.K. and targeting his political opponents.
HOSTIN: Preach.
BEHAR: Not only that he also said Joe Biden has stage 9 cancer. Oh really? Where did come up with that. When is Jake tapper going to write a book about the cognitive decline of the person in charge right now?!
[Cheers]
ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: I would like to respond to that because a factor in why we're in this situation we're in is because Joe Biden decided to stay in the race. And I want to speak to Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson specifically because I'm friends with both of them. Colleagues with both of them. And I don't think there is anyone who could credibly accuse, especially Jake Tapper of not critically covering Donald Trump for the last ten years. He's one of the top journalists in this country. He moderated that debate, by the way.
And this is where I take issue with some folks on the left.
FARAH GRIFFIN: By the way the reason he didn't publish it at the time, to respond to the Jon Stewart of it, people said they weren't willing to talk on the record at the time because of fear of retribution. And I think that speaks to a bigger problem in our government, the people who work for powerful figures feel like they cannot come out with the truth about their concerns and have to wait till later. Whether it’s Trump or Biden.
HAINES: This list Joy has, the way you get to focus on that is when you win elections. And the only people that were coming out on the record critical of President Biden was when Representative Dean Philips ran and said, ‘until we get someone better to come out and run against Biden who he raised concerns about-‘
[Crosstalk]
HAINES: Yeah, yeah, about Biden in the Democratic Party, he said, until we're willing to have this conversation out loud. The special counsel, Robert Hur who took the biggest attack when all he said was there’s some things that are concerning on these tapes, now they're revealed and everyone is like, ‘let's not focus back on that.’ The problem is there's a trust issue here. There’s a massive trust issue.
GOLDBERG (interrupting): There has always been a massive trust issue because politicians, media, nobody does what they're supposed to do.
