Hostin Finds Israeli ‘Anger’ ‘Terrifying,’ Behar Ties Hamas Attack to Trump/Putin Alliance

Racist decolonizer Sunny Hostin was back on ABC’s The View on Tuesday spewing more anti-Israel hate as they were in the process of defending themselves from Hamas terrorists. She bloviated about how she found Israeli “anger” “terrifying” and asserted they were going to kill the 2.2. million civilians in Gaza. Sprinkling in some ridiculous conspiracy theories, co-host Joy Behar baselessly suggested the attack was the result of former President Trump’s 2018 Helsinki meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Stating the obvious that she was “not a geopolitical expert or anything like that,” Hostin proclaimed: “What is terrifying to me also is that there is so much anger on the Israeli side…”

She then suggested Israel was out to kill all 2.2 million residents of the Gaza Strip:

But now you have a defense minister that is saying we are going to close the Strip and put 2.2 million innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip and we're going to launch an offensive against those 2.2 million people, half of which are children; providing no food, water, or electricity. There are losers on both sides of this, and they're civilians.

This anti-Israel/anti-Semitic hate and propaganda came the day after she suggested that Israel was to blame for the Hamas attacks occurring, which have so far claimed over 900 lives with the number still growing as authorities find more execution sites.

To her credit, Behar did provide a counter to Hostin in noting that the Israeli Defense Force did all they could to notify Gaza residents to leave the areas they were striking. “The Israelis will warn them ‘we're coming in.’ This group did not warn them. They killed teenagers, kids who were just out – just out like our kids could be at a rock concert. They kidnapped infants,” she rightfully decried. “These are monstrous people, the Hamas people.”

But she tossed away the good faith when she inexplicably tried to link Trump to the attack, suggesting a 2018 meeting between him and Putin was to hatch out a plan to divert military aid from Ukraine in 2023:

And I would like to know who is behind this because it’s very interesting that now; I would think Putin is sitting back and saying, “Wow. Well, they’re going to send their money to Israel. So, maybe they won't send them to Ukraine. They won't send the money to Ukraine now.” I'm very suspicious of this and what did Donald Trump tell Putin when he was in Helsinki? These are questions that need to be answered in this country. I would like to hear the answers to those questions.

Iran, Joy. Iran was behind it.

Those unhinged conspiracy theories aside, the rest of the panel were saying all the right things to put the blame for everything on Hamas terrorists. Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin understandably grew emotional when discussing the confirmed “reports of babies being beheaded.” “We are witnessing true evil,” she said.

Co-host Sara Haines noted that Hamas’s “sole charter is to destroy Israel, no matter what you give them, land, whatever, they will keep coming back until they destroy Israel.” Adding, “And they’re using their own people as shields.”

“Terrorist groups are terrorist groups. They are horrific. It doesn't matter who leads it, it's a horror. This is what they do. This is what they do and it's always the people that are always paying the price. Always the innocent people paying the price,” moderator Whoopi Goldberg mourned.

ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: It's just gutting to watch. I – Listen this, is tragedy and it's something that I was really struck with. I have struggled with understanding how the Holocaust was able to take place in my grandparents' lifetime. But you see the Jewish people being targeted in a way that is so horrific at a music festival. There are reports of babies being beheaded. We are witnessing true evil and I just -- my hearts are with the Israeli people. My heart is praying for a peaceful solution to this and also for the incredible journalists making stories told and put themselves in such harm's way.

SARA HAINES: And the innocent Palestinians because there's so much death right now at the hands of a terrorist organization, Hamas, whose sole charter is to destroy Israel, no matter what you give them, land, whatever, they will keep coming back until they destroy Israel.

And they’re using their own people as shields. So, they plan to put themselves in schools and other places where women and children are and tell their people when Israel says “get out” – which there isn't really anywhere to go – but their people say don't panic, stay right there because they use them as shields and then toy with the international conversation about this.

And they are a terrorist organization that is brutally committed war crimes. They are dragging people through the streets. They rape, they pillage, they continue to, and they’re threatening now for any response from Israel to kill and broadcast the killing of all the hostages.

SUNNY HOSTIN: I think for me I'm not a geopolitical expert or anything like that I've said many times my grandfather is Jewish, and so my family has been roiling about this. What is terrifying to me also is that there is so much anger on the Israeli side – arguably correctly so because they've never seen this kind of massacre on their land in 50 year –  but now you have a defense minister that is saying we are going to close the Strip and put 2.2 million innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip and we're going to launch an offensive against those 2.2 million people, half of which are children; providing no food, water, or electricity. There are losers on both sides of this, and they're civilians.

Why minds much better than mine have tried to figure out a way for peace in the Middle East. I pray for peace.

JOY BEHAR: I thought Jared Kushner was supposed to do it.

HOSTIN: Allegedly.

FARH GRIFFIN: You cannot have peace in Palestine while Hamas is part of the Palestinian government That’s what it fundamentally comes down to.

BEHAR: Did Hamas really think that the Israelis would not go back at them?

HAINES: No, they knew.

BEHAR: Wait a second. This business of the Palestinians, our hearts go out to all innocent civilians but the Israelis will warn them ‘we're coming in.’ This group did not warn them. They killed teenagers, kids who were just out – just out like our kids could be at a rock concert. They kidnapped infants.

HAINES: Babies.

BEHAR: I believe they kidnapped three children from one family. These are monstrous people, the Hamas people.

HAINES: They don't care about their own lives and they don’t care about other lives.

BEHAR: And they do not care about anybody’s life except power.

HOSTIN: I would like to know where the $6 billion came from.

BEHAR: Yeah, well.

[Applause]

When you see those parent, those parents whose children have been kidnapped. There was a guy -- I forget his name, Kirby was crying on CNN yesterday. This is horrific.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Terrorist groups are terrorist groups. They are horrific. It doesn't matter who leads it, it's a horror. This is what they do. This is what they do and it's always the people that are always paying the price. Always the innocent people paying the price. We'll be right back.
