Dana Loesch BLASTS The View After They Attack Her as 'Moral Rot' of GOP

October 5th, 2022 4:30 PM

Wednesday was day two of ABC’s The View obsessing over the salacious claims made by the left-wing Daily Beast against Georgia Senate nominee Herschel Walker (R) that he paid for a woman’s abortion back in 2009. On this second day, the cackling coven hyperventilated about conservative radio host Dana Loesch and how she rejected liberal attempts to suppress Republican turnout/support for Walker with the scandal. Loesch herself responded to NewsBusters reporting and blasted the ladies who were attacking her with vile suggestions.

At the top of the show, co-host Whoopi Goldberg played these edited soundbites of Loesch:

I don't care if Herschel walker paid to abort endangered baby eagles. I want control of the Senate. [Transition] If The Daily Beast story is true, you're telling me that Walker used his money to reportedly pay some skank for an abortion and Warnock wants to use all of our monies to pay a whole bunch of skanks for our abortions.

“First of all, ma'am, there's a lot of women who find themselves in a position of having to have an abortion. How dare you call them ‘skanks,’ first of all,” Goldberg (who has had an abortion and tried to pressure her daughter into one too) sneered. “I'm keeping calling you a name out of my mouth ‘cause it's not the right thing to do.”

Loesch responded to Goldberg on Twitter (throwing her own words back at her), saying, “FIRST OF ALL, @WhoopiGoldberg -- I refuse to coddle or celebrate irresponsible women who use abortion as birth control. I'm right, so get over it. That you're angrier over that than murder speaks volumes about your character.”

Up next was faux Republican Alyssa Farah Griffin to bloviate about what was happening to “my party” and suggested Loesch was a manifestation of “the moral rot that’s taking over.”

“I can't defend that for a second. As a pro-life woman to hear someone else like Dana who is pro-life call women who get into situations where they need abortions ‘skanks’ is just shameful,” she proclaimed.

Loesch had something to say to Farah Griffin too:

And it’s not as though Farah Griffin has a strong history of defending conservative women on the show. Early last month, during a conversation about potential 2024 contenders, she chose to lionize Michelle Obama instead of promoting conservative women. She also rolled over when Sunny Hostin (a fake name) made a racist attack against former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley for her legal name and skin tone.

Speaking of Hostin, she noted that Loesch used to be a spokesperson for the NRA and maliciously expanded that to a “spokesperson for the AR-15” and for people to be “allowed to kill life with that.”

Despite all this bashing of Loesch and The View’s previous smears of conservative women, self-described Republican Ana Navarro whined about Loesch’s comments. “I hate it when women attack other women,” she cartoonishly exclaimed.

“Then she'll really hate it when they abort them,” Loesch tweeted.

Towards the end of the segment, Hostin was forced, again, to read a legal note sharing Walker’s denial of the allegations. Of course, the unserious cast scoffed at it and read in a sarcastic tone:

GOLDBERG: Sunny, you’re going to have to say that whole – Why don’t you say it now, and let’s get it out of the way.

HOSTIN [Sarcastically]: Oh, my legal note? Thank you, Whoopi. Herschel Walker has denied the allegations in the strongest possible terms that he paid for an abortion.

GOLDBERG [Sarcastically]: Okay. As I was saying.

“Georgia is about playing hardball and the left is freaking out because the GOP is indicating they are going to do just that,” Loesch boiled down their hysteria.

The View’s nasty attack against a strong conservative woman was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Oral-B and Angi. Their contact information is linked.

DANA LOESCH: I don't care if Herschel walker paid to abort endangered baby eagles. I want control of the Senate.

[Transition]

If The Daily Beast story is true, you're telling me that Walker used his money to reportedly pay some skank for an abortion and Warnock wants to use all of our moneies to pay a whole bunch of skanks for our abortions.

[Cuts back to live]

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: First of all, ma'am, there's a lot of women who find themselves in a position of having to have an abortion. How dare you call them “skanks,” first of all.

[Applause]

And I believe the whole point is that Walker is saying, I believe that this is murder. I believe – and has paid supposedly for women to have abortions. That's the point. If you are going to -- if we're going to have these discussions, please stick to them and not go off calling people names. Because I'm keeping calling you a name out of my mouth ‘cause it's not the right thing to do.

SARA HAINES: Dang right.

ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: It just exposes the moral rot that's taking over my party. Like, listening to that, I can't defend that for a second. As a pro-life woman to hear someone else like Dana who is pro-life call women who get into situations where they need abortions “skanks” is just shameful. And I will not defend that.

SUNNY HOSTIN: I just wonder, what do Republicans stand for? You have Dana who used to be the, I think, the spokesperson for the NRA. Right? And so she's the spokesperson for the NRA, the spokesperson for freedom, she's the spokesperson for the AR-15. We should be allowed to kill life with that. Yet now, also she's saying women that have abortions are skanks and that it's okay to have that abortion if your man is paying for it.

What do the Republicans stand for? I mean, it seems to me that there was a time when it was really easy to define conservative principles. You've [Alyssa Farah Griffin] mentioned them many times. Ana [Navarro] has mentioned them many times. Sara [Haines] has mentioned them many times. Limiting the size and reach of government, reducing taxes, strengthening national defense, and holding firm to traditional moral values. What the hell was that, that we just saw? What was that?
