Even with Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy being a class act and asking everyone to “move on” from President Biden calling him a “stupid son of bitch,” the cackling coven on ABC’s The View kicked off Tuesday’s show by suggesting Doocy got what was coming to him because he asks “endless stupid questions,” with unhinged co-host Joy Behar predicting Doocy would be “fired pretty soon” for acting like an adult in response to Biden’s childishness.
According to Behar, Doocy would be fired for not playing the victim and acting like it was a threat against his life:
BEHAR: I think he's going to lose his job at Fox now that he's apologized.
HOSTIN: No, no. I mean the President apologized.
BEHAR: No, I’m talking about Doocy rather. He said – I’m sorry I misspoke. Doocy says, “It's good. I'm thankful that Biden apologized.” And he's not clutching his pearls and yelling about it. And he’ll be fired pretty soon.
She must be confusing Fox News with CNN and Doocy with Jim Acosta.
Behar had her own immature outburst against Doocy last week when she mocked his name as Peter “Douchey.”
As she was leading into the discussion, co-host Whoopi Goldberg boasted that Biden has a “history of calling things out like he sees them. And yesterday he did just that” when he insulted Doocy. And following a couple of clips of Biden’s insult and Doocy brushing it off, Goldberg suggested the latter got what he deserved, asking, “Can sometimes people just give it to you the way you should get it back or shouldn't get it back?”
The most civil person on the set was returning former co-host Lisa Ling who was very disappointed with Biden and thought he should “apologize to the American people.”
“He name called,” she said. “And I just think, as a mom to young kids, these are the people who should be setting examples for our kids. Yet more examples of men behaving badly and mothers eventually having to clean it up because it's giving license to kids.”
Of course, this prompted the avalanche of comparisons to former President Trump. “But, what I appreciate is that he called and he apologized. That's something that we would have never heard the former, twice impeached, disgraced president of this country do,” co-host Sunny Hostin declared.
Ling was relentless in correctly insisting Biden was the problem in the situation; this caused Goldberg to get a little prickly as she defended Biden by arguing it was a “human” response to Doocy’s “endless stupid questions.”
“And I think that, for me, is the representation of what a human being, as president, should be,” she proclaimed.
This defend of President Biden’s childishness and ridiculous prediction was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Vicks and Consumer Cellular. Their contact information is linked.

GOLDBERG: So he seems to write it off as another day at the office. So, you know, is this politics as usual? Can sometimes people just give it to you the way you should get it back or shouldn't get it back?
LISA LING: I hope it's not politics as usual though. The former president set the bar low, right?
[Crosstalk in agreement]
And one of the reasons why Joe Biden was elected, even though he has a history of being a loose cannon, is he was thought to restore civility to the office. And so, you know, it’s not like he just dismiss it as a dumb question. He name called. And I just think, as a mom to young kids, these are the people who should be setting examples for our kids. Yet more examples of men behaving badly and mothers eventually having to clean it up because it's giving license to kids.
SUNNY HOSTIN: I completely agree with you. It's sort of beneath the dignity of the presidency. But, what I appreciate is that he called and he apologized. That's something that we would have never heard the former, twice impeached, disgraced president of this country do.
LING: It's true, but I think he should apologize to everyone. Not just to Peter Doocy.
JOY BEHAR: I think he's going to lose his job at Fox now that he's apologized.

LING: I just think he should acknowledge that he was a poor example for –
GOLDBERG: Well, but, no, I'm sorry. He should acknowledge he's human. Because that happens sometimes when people ask you endless stupid questions from one particular place and sometimes you just lose it for a second. The difference is he said, “Okay, let me call him and apologize because that happens.” And I think that, for me, is the representation of what a human being, as president, should be.
