The liberal media will take any chance they get to show their admiration for their favorite president. In the latter portion of CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time, host Chris Cuomo and CNN Tonight host Don Lemon gushed about how former President Barrack Obama was cheered at an NBA game while mocking how President Trump had protesters in London. Not only that, they made the mind-numbing claim that Obama had never insulted anyone.
After playing a clip from some random NBA fan’s cellphone were people were chanting “MVP”, Cuomo touted: “You heard that for Obama last night in Toronto. President Trump notably avoided any routes that, you know, would show the protests and stuff. He’s got detractors there in the U.K. as well.”
Claiming he wasn’t “really trying to compare who’s more popular or whatever”, he wanted Lemon to give his hypothesis for the different receptions. “People love Obama,” Lemon exclaimed after fawning over Obama’s good looks.
“Our allies love him. People love-- Obama is loved all over the world. As a matter of fact, did you see in London that this group put the approval numbers of Obama and Trump up? And it was a progressive group because, you know, people over there, they don't like Trump,” Lemon continued, as if their opinion actually mattered in the U.S.
Adding: “He's a good person. Even if you disagree with his politics, he's a decent, kind man who was very classy all the time. He didn't call people dumb. He didn't call people nasty. He didn't call people total losers. He wasn't a fifth grader. He was an adult.”
Um, ABC literally wrote an article titled, “President Obama’s long history of insulting Donald Trump”. Good thing Lemon would later ask “Where is the evidence that Obama ever denigrated anyone, called someone out of their name, wasn’t classy,” because Obama once attacked the Cambridge Police for acting “stupidly”. Here’s a 2008 interview he did with CNN where he called the GOP “ignorant”. And there was the time he called Fox News and right-wing media “the swamp of crazy”.
Cuomo pointed out that Trump supporters would disagree with Lemon’s assertions. “I disagree with that. I think Trump's base will tell you, ‘I didn't like his policies but he was a kind, decent man,’” Lemon argued. Lemon then stated that if they disagreed with him they were “delusional if they think that.”
“They thought he was divisive. They thought he was playing to race. They thought he was trying to marginalize being white in this country, that he didn't think America was special,” Cuomo recalled. That reminded Lemon that they’re supposed to portray Trump supporters as racist (click “expand”):
LEMON: Because he's black? Because he's black?
CUOMO: Yeah, some of it.
(…)
LEMON: Because the hate groups got upset because a black man was president. You didn't get Trump unless you had Obama, unless you get people who were pissed that a black man was president, even if they are consciously aware of it or not. Maybe they're not consciously aware of it.
Towards the end of their banter, Lemon said he liked making the comparison between Obama and Trump because “it shows decency versus someone who's not decent.” “I’ll take all the decency I can get,” Cuomo declared. Meanwhile, these are just two of the CNN hosts who promote the Antifa terrorist organization.

CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time
June 3, 2019
9:47:04 p.m. EasternCHRIS CUOMO: So this is very interesting. While our current President basked in royal treatment during his state visit to the U.K. today, he wasn't the only U.S. president living his best life. Check out this reception that his predecessor got in Canada at an NBA finals game.
ANNOUNCER (ABC footage): It's Mr. Barrack Obama.
CROWD (Random person’s cellphone footage): MVP, MVP, MVP.
CUOMO: That's funny. That's in Canada. Right? That’s where the Raptors – we the north, is the new campaign – chanting MVP. You heard that for Obama last night in Toronto. President Trump notably avoided any routes that, you know, would show the protests and stuff. He’s got detractors there in the U.K. as well.
Let’s bring in D-Lemon. Very different venues and I'm not really trying to compare who’s more popular or whatever but very interesting the type of reception.
DON LEMON: [Laughter] Why are you pulling me into this?
CUOMO: Why not. What else have you got to do?
LEMON: Nothing. Just hanging out here. Man, he looks good. I wish I can look that good when I'm Obama's age. He's glowing. He’s got not a care in the world.
CUOMO: Is he older than you?
LEMON: Look at him. Yeah. Shut up. Yeah, he is older than me. But he looks good. He’s got a little grey. He's got a lot of grey but that's all right.
CUOMO: He got it being president. It's amazing how it ages them. But what do you think it means that he goes up there to Canada and they cheer like that?
LEMON: Here's what I think it means. Ok, here’s what I think it means. People love Obama. Our, what do you call -- the people that like us -- not our adversaries but -- what do you call them? It's been a long weekend. Our allies.
[Crosstalk]
CUOMO: Sound like Kushner there for a second.
LEMON: Our allies love him. People love-- Obama is loved all over the world. As a matter of fact, did you see in London that this group put the approval numbers of Obama and Trump up? And it was a progressive group because, you know, people over there, they don't like Trump.
So, Trump has a 21 percent approval rating. Barrack Obama has a 72 percent approval rating in the U.K. People love Obama. That's all I can say. And why not? He's a good person. Even if you disagree with his politics, he's a decent, kind man who was very classy all the time. He didn't call people dumb. He didn't call people nasty. He didn't call people total losers. He wasn't a fifth grader. He was an adult.
CUOMO: You know who didn't like him though? You know who didn’t share your opinion?
LEMON: Trump.
CUOMO: The Trump base. Well, certainly President Trump.
LEMON: I think the Trump base will tell you –
CUOMO: Trump had a deep personal dislike for Mr. Obama.
LEMON: I disagree with that. I think Trump's base will tell you, “I didn't like his policies but he was a kind, decent man.”
CUOMO: Some might. I think a lot of them – I think without President Bush, you’d never get Obama. Without Obama, you would never get Trump.
LEMON: Ok, if they’re saying that, they’re delusional. Where is the evidence that Obama ever denigrated anyone, called someone out of their name, wasn’t classy?
CUOMO: D-Lemon. D-Lemon. Since when do you need facts to have a feeling? You think you're in good shape.
LEMON: I'm just trying to tell people they're delusional if they think that. Listen, you an I were on this network--
CUOMO: They thought he was divisive. They thought he was playing to race. They thought he was trying to marginalize being white in this country, that he didn't think America was special.
(…)
LEMON: I’m just being honest. I used to -- people used to lambaste me for criticizing the former President. You don't hear about that anymore. All you hear from Trump is, “you love Obama.” Where were you guys back in the day?
CUOMO: That's of the only thing I didn't like about doing this particular substance in this segment. I don't like the comparisons because it feeds this -- every time you say this about this president, you've for some reason have got to say something about the last president.
LEMON: I know you’ve got to go. But I like it because it shows decency versus someone who's not decent.
CUOMO: I’ll take all the decency I can get.
