Conservative HLN host, S.E. Cupp kicked off her Monday evening show, S.E. Cupp Unfiltered. with a stinging denouncement of “the latest feeble attempt by [Hillary] Clinton to stay relevant” and her “glomming” onto the #MeToo movement. Cupp also took the failed presidential candidate to task for never being able to take a proper stand against sexual harassers when it really counted, like with her husband and her campaign staff.
Cupp began the show by initially mocking the overly politicized Grammys for having Clinton obnoxiously read from journalist Michael Wolff’s disaster of a book, Fire and Fury. “For her part, it’s just the latest feeble attempt by Clinton to stay relevant despite everyone complaining they just want to move on,” she joked before praising singer-songwriter Kesha for singing her hit song “Praying,” which was inspired by her own #MeToo story, at the same event.
“Now, when it comes to #MeToo, Hillary is trying hard to be relevant there as well. Take a look at this. A weird and coached example of Hillary glomming on to a movement that has undoubtedly passed her by,” Cupp noted as she played an awkward video of Clinton.
“There is a big problem with Hillary’s wannabe #MeToo-ism,” Cupp continued to hammer. “And here's the deal: Hillary Clinton is not a credible champion of women. Not because of these bizarre gimmicks but because when it really counted she did the wrong thing every time.”
Cupp then aired Clinton’s dirty laundry when it can to how she basically tore into the women who spoke out and accused men in her life of sexual harassment and sexual assault:
Her husband is caught cheating on her. She shut shames the intern he took advantage of. Her husband is accused multiple times by multiple women of harassment and rape. She discredits and smears the accusers and subcontracts feminist leaders like Gloria Steinem to do the same on her behalf. She says she believes all accusers have the right to be heard except those accusing her husband apparently. Or her staff members.
The staff member Cupp mentioned was on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign and was accused of “repeatedly sexually harassing a young subordinate.” And according to a New York Times report, Clinton defended the harasser, overruled a decision to fire the man, and moved the woman.
And Clinton’s tone-deaf response to the public’s outrage over the revelation was to say she called the woman and thanked her for speaking up. “Monica, Juanita, Gennifer, Paula. Bill Clinton’s are still waiting for their phone calls. So, you see, this is why Hillary Clinton will never be a credible champion of women. Not until she and the feminists who protected her husband for so many years publically atone,” Cupp declared.

CUPP: If you didn’t see the Grammys you might be wondering what does Hillary Clinton reading an excerpt from Michael Wolff's controversial and thinly sources book, Fire and Fury, have to do with music? Nothing. It was apropos about nothing. It's like someone on the Grammy organizing committee said, “We've got the stage for four hours. Think Hillary would come on to make fun of Trump for 30 seconds? Yes? Okay, put that in.”
For her part, it’s just the latest feeble attempt by Clinton to stay relevant despite everyone complaining they just want to move on. Now, contrast that odd moment was a truly great one from the Grammys and it’s proof that sometimes the best political statements aren't said at all.

Kesha's emotional performance of her hit single “Praying” was inspired by our drawn-out excruciating battle with producer Dr. Luke stemming from 2014 allegations that he drugged, emotionally abused, and sexually assaulted her. Her years of torment and his repeated attempts to silence and discredit her were felt in every note.

According to a bombshell New York Times report this weekend, years later, a senior advisor on her 2008 presidential campaign was accused of, quote: “repeatedly sexually harassing a young subordinate.” Her campaign manager along with other aides, of course, recommended his dismissal. Instead, Hillary Clinton shielded the alleged harasser and moved the accusing woman to another position.
In the wake of these disturbing revelations, here's Hillary's spin. She tweets: “A story appeared today about something that happened in 2008. I was dismayed when it occurred but was heartened the young woman came forward, was heard, and had her concerns taken seriously and addressed. I called her today to tell her how proud I am of her and make sure she knows, what all women should: We deserve to be heard.”
Monica, Juanita, Gennifer, Paula. Bill Clinton’s are still waiting for their phone calls. So, you see, this is why Hillary Clinton will never be a credible champion of women. Not until she and the feminists who protected her husband for so many years publically atone.
