With the news cycle focused so heavily on the candidates’ current health and medical records this week, both candidates opened themselves up Wednesday by releasing new health information from their doctors. And by all accounts, both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are healthy for being 70. But on Bloomberg’s With All Due Respect, co-host Donny Deutsch took swings at his favorite punching bag. “I’m going to give you another fact,” Deutsch stated, “Between 40 and 60 percent have erectile dysfunction at that age.”
Co-host Mark Halperin seemed to be rendered speechless by Deutsch’s crude joke at Trump’s expense. All he managed to get out was, “Good— good— good segue. We’re going to talk a lot more about what’s in Hillary Clinton’s release, as well as Trump throughout the program.”
Deutsch seemed to be obsessed with the medical information Trump released to Dr, Oz, even hyping Trump’s hormone levels. “As I said, dunna dunna dunna, Trump's testosterone level is apparently off the chart! It's huge! It’s huge! It’s all huge,” he exclaimed wildly. He even joked that Trump had, quote, “Putin like testosterone levels.”
But for Halperin his concern about the information wasn’t what it said, but the doctor it came from. “He’s taken something which is long overdue, more disclosure about his health and turned it into a carnival of sorts by going on a show,” Halperin whined, “At the same time, I think he should have used a different doctor.” One of his complaints was, “I don’t know that doctor.” So, does that mean he knows Clinton’s?
Not being one to miss out on an opportunity to swipe at Trump in some way, Deutsch joked, “Oh, he looks very credible. You’re talking about the Jerry Garcia is the medical professional?”
Halperin seemed almost offended that Trump would us his own, albeit eccentric looking, doctor to conduct his physical. Ranting:
By becoming the butt of jokes, I don't think it is in Trump’s interest, I don’t think it’s in that doctor's interest, and I don’t think it’s in the public's interest to have that guy be the guy. The fact is, with all of these medical releases for all these candidates every four years, you rely on the credibility of the doctor that the tests are legit, they were done in a serious and rigorous way.

DONNY DEUTSCH: I think we all have to go on the premise that they’re both 70. And neither one of these— I know we’re going to talk about Donald Trump's health and his Putin like testosterone levels. But, it's safe to say— I’m going to give you another fact. 77 percent of all people over the age of 70 have hearing loss, 70 percent have hypertension, and bad news for one of the candidates between 40 and 60 percent have erectile dysfunction at that age. So, there are a lot of issues that— you’re not even breaking a smile on that one. [Laughter]
MARK HALPERIN: Good— good— good segue. We’re going to talk a lot more about what’s in Hillary Clinton’s release, as well as Trump throughout the program.
DEUTSCH: More on this later. We are waiting for Donald Trump to release some additional information on his health this week. Today Trump did an incremental thing. He taped an interview, like I said with Dr. Oz in which he discussed his cholesterol, he enjoyment of fast food, and desire to drop weight. We now know the Republican nominee weighs 236 pounds and he considers campaigning his source of exercise.
As I said, dunna dunna dunna, Trump's testosterone level is apparently off the chart! It's huge! It’s huge! It’s all huge. Those revelations were the summary of the physical exam that Trump who said last week, with the same doctor who said last year Trump will be the "Healthiest individual ever elected."

HALPERIN: I agree with you. He’s taken something which is long overdue, more disclosure about his health and turned it into a carnival of sorts by going on a show. At the same time, I think he should have used a different doctor. I don't know that doctor.
DEUTSCH: Oh, he looks very credible. You’re talking about the Jerry Garcia is the medical professional?
HALPERIN: That doctor— If you were doing this in straight forward and serious way you would say, “That guy has been my doctor, I love him. I think he’s a great doctor. But, by doing an interview with NBC an interview with CNN.” By becoming the butt of jokes, I don't think it is in Trump’s interest, I don’t think it’s in that doctor's interest, and I don’t think it’s in the public's interest to have that guy be the guy. The fact is, with all of these medical releases for all these candidates every four years, you rely on the credibility of the doctor that the tests are legit, they were done in a serious and rigorous way. The doctor is putting his or her credibility on the line.
