On CNN, Leftists Celebrate Dumping 'Racist, Fascist' Netanyahu and His 'Horrific War'

Audrey Fahlberg Maria Cardona CNN This Morning 8-6-25 We've often criticized Audie Cornish for her lib-stacked panels.

But on Wednesday, the CNN This Morning host made up for it to to max! She actually had Marjorie Taylor Greene in her Group Chat! Taylor Greene proceeded to condemn Netanyahu's policies as "racist, fascist." She had already accused Israel of genocide in Gaza.

Oh, wait! I'm kidding. That wasn't MTG. It was long-time Democrat aide and CNN analyst Maria Cardona, who said:

"You can absolutely be anti-Netanyahu and the racist, fascist policies that he is implementing, and how he's engaging in this horrific war in Gaza and still be pro-Israel."

Cardona asserted that the majority of Democrat voters "understand that." And for that matter, she added, so does "the majority of the world."

The "majority of the world" condemns Israel? No doubt, Maria! You'd fit right in at the UN General Assembly, which for decades has voted overwhelmingly to condemn Israel, even when it was led by a variety of prime ministers much more amenable to the global diplomat crowd.

CNN reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere described the Democrat shift, that "a lot of people who are expected to run for president, a lot of others, Brian Schatz, the likely next Democratic leader in the Senate, saying that they really need to pivot hard away from Netanyahu."

Another example of politics making strange bedfellows, as the MTG-Tucker Carlson clan joins forces with what is increasingly becoming mainstream Democrat thinking.

Note: When Cornish asked Cardona what she thought about the Democrat shift away from Israel, she answered, "freaking finally!" Cool lefty street cred there for Cardona, slinging an f-bomb variant on the air!

Here's the transcript.

EDWARD-ISAAC DOVERE: And when I talk to all these people, I talk to a lot of people who are expected to run for president, a lot of others, Brian Schatz, the likely next Democratic leader in the Senate, saying that they really need to pivot hard away from Netanyahu, criticize what he's doing, say that they have no association with this, and hope that there is a change in Israel government policy.

AUDIE CORNISH: This is a very profound conversational shift. Maria, before I bring you in, Audrey, we were talking earlier this week about Marjorie Taylor Greene going out and using the word genocide in relation to what was happening in Israel [sic, Gaza.] She's not reflective of the whole caucus, obviously.

. . .

What do you see in this shift?

MARIA CARDONA: I see, freaking finally, it's about time that Democrats, and I think others as well, and even some in the Republican party, are differentiating between Netanyahu and the Israeli government, and the State of Israel, and the Jewish population either here or the people in Israel. They are not one and the same.

You can absolutely be anti-Netanyahu and the racist, fascist policies that he is implementing, and how he's engaging in this horrific war in Gaza, and still be pro-Israel, still be pro-Israel has a right to defend itself.

Those are not mutually exclusive and I'm glad that my party is starting to understand that because that's where the majority of Democratic voters are. And I think, frankly, the majority of America, and the majority of the world!
