How vile are the Never Trumpers? Take Rick Tyler, former Ted Cruz campaign aide turned such a nasty Never Trumper that it earned him a "political analyst" gig with MSNBC.
After Al Sharpton on his MSNBC show this evening congratulated himself for offering prayers for Trump -- "Yes, you heard that right. Sympathy from me to this president' -- Tyler unleashed this ugly analogy blaming Trump for every single American death attributed to the coronavirus:
"I appreciate your gracious tone . . . I don’t have that kind of sympathy . . . I look at this as a drunk driver who injured himself in a wreck and killed the oncoming driver. He has injured himself and 200,000 people . . . have died."
Donald Trump: drunken mass killer of hundreds of thousandss. Nice work, Rick: that should win you many more MSNBC appearances. But what about Andrew Cuomo? He's not responsible for a single victim who died in New York? No one at MSNBC would want to say he is.
Tyler's bio is just as ridiculous. He's "nonpartisan," didn't you know?
Rick Tyler is a thought-provoking conservative Political Analyst for the MSNBC Cable News Network. Whether you agree or disagree, Rick will make you think and re-think your positions. He quickly evaluates the significance of unfolding political events in real time. Eschewing partisan spin, Rick gives his audience an unvarnished analysis of the meaning behind the political posturing. He simply calls balls and strikes without regard to whose team strikes out.
Rick Tyler analogizing President Trump to a drunken mass killer was sponsored by StarBelly, Spectrum, Brava, and Nutrafol.

AL SHARPTON: Tonight’s lead, only that my prayers go up for President Trump and his wife, the First Lady, that they have a speedy recovery. Yes, you heard that right. Sympathy from me to this president.
. . .
JOE BIDEN: My wife Jill and I pray that they’ll make a quick and full recovery. This is not a matter of politics, it’s A bracing reminder to all of us that we have to take this virus seriously.
SHARPTON: So he’s shown real civility, something that this president hasn’t shown. but I don’t think, I know in my case it’s not a strategy, that’s just who we are.
. . .
RICK TYLER: I appreciate your gracious tone at the beginning, I don’t have that kind of sympathy, I wish I did, rev, that you did have.
Because I look at this as a drunk driver who injured himself in a wreck, and killed the oncoming sober driver. Donald Trump has injured himself, and injured, and 200,000 people, other drivers, have died due to the coronavirus. So I don’t have sympathy for Donald Trump. He put himself in the situation.
