On Full Frontal With Samantha Bee on Monday night, former veteran network journalist Katie Couric made a cameo on the liberal comedy show to mock her “sweetheart” image.
The show opened with host Samantha Bee being heckled by people while walking on the street. After so many comments, she started pretending she was Katie Couric and asking protesters to send their complaints to Couric on social media. At that point, the camera flips to Couric sitting in a restaurant, presumably reading tweets on her phone.
“I’m not a basic bitch! I’m America’s sweetheart!” Couric exclaimed before flipping the bird.
After that, Bee spent a long segment bashing John Kasich, and Donald Trump, saying Kasich’s only advantage was not having “to worry about getting any votes” while being stuck between the two frontrunners “dick and asshole.”
Bee finished her GOP bashing trifecta by gushing over a protester in the Bronx who heckled Cruz when he was visiting.
Couric then appeared in the show’s end credits with outtakes of her practicing her obscenity-filled dialogue for the skit.
Bee, a former Daily Show correspondent, has made her TBS show even more over-the-top in it’s crass humor and liberal propaganda.
As for Couric, I guess once you’ve moved to Yahoo! News, you’ve got nothing left to lose.
