On Thursday, two big bombshell reports were released involving Hunter Biden and his alleged illegal activities. The first was an IRS whistleblower report revealing that the Biden Department of Justice ran interference in the investigation into Hunter Biden's tax fraud charges. The second was even more explosive: text messages were released in another whistleblower report in which Hunter directly implicates his father Joe Biden in his overseas business dealings with China. Thart was despite Joe Biden repeatedly denying any knowledge of his son's affairs. Both of these shocking revelations were ignored by two of the three nightly news broadcasts. Only NBC Nightly News covered the reports.
While it was a busy news day with many outlets focused heavily on the tragedy involving the Titanic submersible which sadly imploded under deep ocean pressure, ABC's World News Tonight spent 11 minutes and 43 seconds on the story, while CBS Evening News spent a reasonable 3 minutes and 39 seconds on the implosion. In addition, CBS ran stories like a frozen food recall and an FDA crackdown on flavored cigarettes. Two segments that could've been used for the Hunter Biden news.
Meanwhile, on NBC Nightly News, senior Capitol Hill correspondent Garrett Haake reported the latest news in the ongoing Hunter Biden scandal. "These two senior IRS agents allege that the President's son received preferential treatment throughout the five-year tax investigation that resulted in two misdemeanor guilty pleas this week," Haake reported.
"In testimony released by the Republican-led House committee, the agents accuse the DOJ and the FBI of slow-walking portions of the investigation to Hunter Biden's benefit and that efforts by the Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney leading the probe to charge more serious crimes were blocked. The DOJ spokesman tonight denied any such interference," he added.
Moving on to the biggest bombshell, Haake revealed that "one whistleblower also provided what he says are WhatsApp messages from Hunter Biden to a Chinese business associate from 2017 in which the younger Biden says he’s sitting with his father waiting on a response to a proposal and that he and the then-former Vice President will make the business partner regret not responding."
He was forced to add that "NBC News has not yet confirmed the authenticity of that message," and that "The White House tonight says President Biden has upheld his commitment to let this investigation proceed free of any political interference."
Haake ended by revealing that Hunter Biden's lawyers have unsurprisingly not responded to his request for comment.
This bias by omission from ABC & CBS was made possible by Dr. Scholl's on ABC and SimpliSafe on CBS. Their information is linked.

6:41:59 p.m. EasternLESTER HOLT: A House committee released testimony today from two IRS whistleblowers who say the DOJ, the FBI, and their IRS superiors improperly interfered with their investigation of Hunter Biden who agreed to a plea deal this week. Garrett Haake joins us. Garrett, what do the whistleblowers have to say?
GARRETT HAAKE: Lester, these two senior IRS agents allege that the President's son received preferential treatment throughout the five-year tax investigation that resulted in two misdemeanor guilty pleas this week. In testimony released by the Republican-led House committee, the agents accuse the DOJ and the FBI of slow-walking portions of the investigation to Hunter Biden's benefit and that efforts by the Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney leading the probe to charge more serious crimes were blocked. The DOJ spokesman tonight denied any such interference.
One whistleblower also provided what he says are WhatsApp messages from Hunter Biden to a Chinese business associate from 2017 in which the younger Biden says he’s sitting with his father waiting on a response to a proposal and that he and the then-former Vice President will make the business partner regret not responding. Now, NBC News has not yet confirmed the authenticity of that message. The White House tonight says President Biden has upheld his commitment to let this investigation proceed free of any political interference. Hunter Biden's attorneys have not responded our request for comment.
