CBS Blames Guns for Possible Trans Terrorist Shooting Up Christian School

March 27th, 2023 9:35 PM

On Monday, a transgender activist shot up a Christian school in Nashville Tennessee, killing three nine-year-old children and three teachers in an apparent hate crime against Christians. While all three networks mentioned a hate-filled transgender monster shot and killed six innocent Christians, the mentions were brief and CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell opened her program with a lecture on “gun violence.”

“Tonight, a targeted attack in Tennessee. A scene that has become all too common in America: A mass shooting. This time at a private Christian grade school in Nashville,” O’Donnell reported. She could've mentioned that once again a radical trans activist carried out a mass shooting, but she - like most leftists - was far more comfortable blaming guns.

“We just learned more about the six victims, the three children all 9 years old. The three adults in their 60s. One of them, Katherine Koonce, was the head of the school. The other adults, a substitute teacher, and a custodian,” O’Donnell noted.

O’Donnell’s only mention of the evil person who murdered six people was a brief mention of the suspect’s identity. She never mentions that the shooter was a mentally ill woman who pretended to be a man. She left that detail up to correspondent Janet Shamlian.

“Tonight police have identified the shooter as a 28-year-old woman who previously attended the school and left behind a manifesto," she said before tossing to Shamlian, O'Donnell lectured her audience on so-called gun violence:

It's all a chilling reminder about the leading cause of death for America’s children: Guns. For decades, it was car accidents that were the main cause. Well, not anymore. Since 2020, firearms overtook crashes as the number one cause of death for kids. Police said the shooter was heavily armed, prepared to do even more harm. Well today, President Biden renewed his call on Congress to pass a ban on assault weapons.

It should be noted that if the suspect was a straight white Trump supporter who shot and killed students and teachers at a Muslim or Jewish school, her focus would be the perpetrator's identity and the danger of Trump’s rhetoric and anti-Muslim or anti-Semitic bigotry. As they did with the Tree of Life synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, when they tried to tie it to Trump despite the shooter being anti-Trump.

In a way, it is surprising that leftists in the media were howling about guns since just last week, Fox News host Tucker Carlson highlighted a segment from taxpayer-funded propaganda outlet NPR that came out in support of transgenders owning firearms.

You aren’t allowed to own weapons to protect yourself, but allies of the Biden regime are permitted.

NORAH O’DONNELL: Tonight, a targeted attack in Tennessee. A scene that has become all too common in America: A mass shooting. This time at a private Christian grade school in Nashville. We just learned more about the six victims, the three children all 9 years old. The three adults in their 60s. One of them, Katherine Koonce, was the head of the school. The other adults, a substitute teacher, and a custodian. Well, tonight police have identified the shooter as a 28-year-old woman who previously attended the school and left behind a manifesto.

Police confronted and quickly killed the shooter. These pictures of young kids holding hands to evacuate the school are reminiscent of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School ten years ago. And this heartbreaking photo, a young girl terrified on a bus on her way to be reunited with her family at a nearby church. Our local affiliate WTVF says those kids arrived to their parents singing.
