MRC President David Bozell joined Lars Larson on his eponymous national radio show on Tuesday to torch the elitist media for flipping their narrative on the government shutdown.
"The same press who blamed the Republicans for shutting down the government are blaming Democrats for folding. It makes no sense."
Bozell also called out the left for using the shutdown to make absurd funding demands for USAID, PBS/NPR and Obamacare.
"They basically demanded that President Trump reverse the Big, Beautiful Bill and... just undo the first 10 months of his second administration. The Obamacare subsidies were just the most absurd of them all. Obamacare, as poorly as it was written, provided subsidies if you earned up to 400% above the poverty line. Biden increased that number from 400% to 600%. That 200% little window was what the Democrats were bellyaching about."
