FNC Highlights Hamas 'Kite Terrorism' As CNN Pushes Anti-Israel Propaganda

June 4th, 2018 7:29 PM

In the early morning hours on Sunday, the same CNN that has yet to inform viewers that over 80 percent of Palestinians recently killed by the Israeli military are terrorists, took the time to highlight the death of a Palestinian nurse, Razan al-Najjar, supposedly killed by Israeli sniper fire.

By contrast, over the past few days, Fox News Channel has found time to inform viewers of Hamas's new tactic of "kite terrorism" in which kites are flown across the border to set fires to Israeli farmland.

At 2:42 a.m. Eastern, CNN Newsroom anchor Rosemary Church teased the upcoming report: "A medic killed in Gaza had told her family her medical vest was her protection."

Then came a clip of the mother of the nurse who was killed: "I want justice for Razan -- here is her weapon. I want the world to know this is the weapon of Razan al-Najjar."

Church added: "Coming up, you will hear some of the last words of the young woman killed while trying to help others."

The report by CNN correspondent Ian Lee ran at 2:47 a.m. and again at 3:46 a.m. Before the second airing, Church referred to the killings of over 100 Palestinian Arabs by the Israeli military without noting that most had been identified as terrorists. Church:

We are learning more about a young Palestinian nurse killed on Friday while trying to help injured protesters. Her body was carried through the streets Saturday as thousands honored the woman who dedicated her life to saving others. She is the latest victim of Israeli gunfire which has killed, in recent weeks, more than 100 Palestinian protesters who are demanding the right to return to lands now inside Israel.

As Lee informed viewers that al-Najjar was shot and killed while trying to reach the wounded, he recalled: "International law protects medics, but, minutes later, an Israeli sniper killed the 21-year-old." The CNN reporter soon added that her parents "now want accountability for their daughter's death."

Then played the clip of her mother that was used earlier in the tease. Toward the end of the piece, after noting that the IDF had given a statement stressing that they take great efforts to minimize civilian casualties, Lee gave attention to medical workers who were holding a protest and accusing the IDF of shooting them deliberately:

Medical workers protested outside a UN office in Gaza City. All believe Israeli snipers are deliberately targeting them -- a charge the Israeli military denies. Razan al-Najjar is the second medic killed by an Israeli sniper, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. More than 200 were also injured, many wearing vests just like this.

It is a noteworthy contrast that on the same day's America's News Headquarters on FNC, during an interview with Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, FNC anchor Eric Shawn informed viewers of the use of kites by Hamas to set fires in Israel. And, on Monday's Fox and Friends, news reader Jillian Mele read a brief highlighting recent video of kindergarten children in Gaza being indoctrinated to want to go to war with Israel.
