On Tuesday's New Day on CNN, during a pre-recorded segment in which CNN's Alisyn Camerota was seen speaking with six Donald Trump voters about how they view the President's performance, the New Day host cracked a joke about whether one panel member was calling President Trump a "maniac" and "insane," or North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un.
After Camerota brought up the issue of North Korea, two panel members -- one of whom regrets voting for Trump -- debated what should be done about North Korea's missile program. The piece then switched to a clip of recurring panel member and former New Hampshire State Rep. Paul Johnson, who injected: "Of course you have to talk and try to come to a resolution. I mean, the guy is a maniac. He's insane. But --"
A clip of Camerota was then seen smiling as she quipped: "I know you're talking about Kim Jong-Un."
As the panelists laughed, and one male voice could be heard proclaiming, "Not Trump," Johnson smiled and responded: "I'm glad you clarified that."

ALISYN CAMEROTA: Are you comfortable with where the administration is today on North Korea?
SCOTT MCCOMMONS, VOTED FOR DONALD TRUMP: I'm not because, you know what, if these panelists believe -- some of the panelists believe that he gets the wrong information and goes into North Korea and does something stupid, it could be detrimental to this country. It really could.
CAMEROTA: Are you comfortable with the tough talk against North Korea?
MCCOMMONS: You know what, I'll take any tough talk from President Trump if he's going to back it up, but he's not backing it up.
KRAIG MOSS, VOTED FOR DONALD TRUMP: What can we do, though? What we've got a leader of a country that has been flaunting the fact that he has these missiles, and he sends them up. Do we have to wait until one of them is nuclear-tipped and takes out one of our allies?
MCCOMMONS: Absolutely not. I'm not saying --
MOSS: Then I have to agree that, you know, we as a country need to say, you know, "We're not going to turn our head anymore." You know, this is something that I'm very passionate about.
MCCOMMONS: You think tough talk will take care of that?
MOSS: I don't know about the tough talk, okay.
FORMER STATE REP. PAULA JOHNSON (R-NH): Of course you have to talk and try to come to a resolution. I mean, the guy is a maniac. He's insane. But --
CAMEROTA (smiling): I know you're talking about Kim Jong-Un.
(Everyone laughs.)

JOHNSON: I'm glad you clarified that.
