Most of the time, the leftist media show their support for the radical Democratic Party agenda through more insidious means -- ignoring certain stories, hyping others, inviting on left-wing guests -- but it is rare that they outright announce that they fully agree with Democrats. During her 9:00 a.m. ET hour show on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle proudly did just that.
Ruhle's partisan guest, Democratic Congresswoman Madeleine Dean was spewing the usual DNC talking points against Attorney General Bill Barr:
This is a difficult and somber moment of the Capitol. We stood on the steps and bid farewell to the greatest public servant I'll know, John Lewis. At the same time, we have 150,000 Americans dead of coronavirus. So I was welcoming of Attorney General Barr finally coming before our committee for the first time. Unfortunately what he did was distort, dissemble, deflect, blame, instead of just answering straight what he was doing how he is upholding the rule of law versus how he is just upholding a presidential political ambition. What I want people to know is we actually have to hold him accountable to the American people. You saw his affect yesterday, he was disrespectful, spoke over top of every one of us. In particular, he spoke over women, he was flanked by at least ten staffers, not a person of color among them, and he couldn't identify that we have systemic racism in this country, maybe that’s because he's living in a bubble. This is an Attorney General who has sworn an oath of office, swore the truth to us and I believe he should resign. I have called for that a long time ago. He's terrible for the morale of the office.
Those comments are ridiculous and deeply disingenuous considering that the Democrats repeatedly talked over Barr and treated him quite disrespectfully themselves. Dean’s outrageous accusation that he had a problem with women or people of color was particularly nasty.
But MSNBC saved the most outrageous comments for last on Wednesday, when Stephanie Ruhle flat out admitted that she agreed with every wild Democrat assertion and wanted Barr to pay:
But then again, besides urging him to resign, you and I both know he's not going to do that. What are the actual consequences he could face? Everything you've said, disingenuous, misrepresented things, disrespectful, dishonest, I got you. Let's say all of those things are 100% true, is there anything Democrats can do to change this?
Ruhle has no interest in challenging Democrats, she works for them. Her job is to help them punish Republicans and conservatives for daring to oppose the far-left agenda. Segments like this are why media credibility is in the toilet, which is right where this interview belongs.

STEPHANIE RUHLE: Attorney General Bill Barr's first appearance before the House Judiciary Committee was expected to be fiery and of course it lived up to that hype. Over the course of a contentious five-hour hearing, Barr defended the deployment of federal agents to cities like Portland, said he did not think there was systemic racism among police in the United States and insisted that he intervened in the criminal cases of President Trump's dear allies, Roger Stone and Michael Flynn simply to uphold the rule of laws and not because of their relationship to the president. I want to bring in a member of the House Judiciary Committee right now, Democratic Congresswoman Madeline Dean of Pennsylvania. Congresswoman, no surprise it was a very contentious hearing but did you get anything out of it?
MADELINE DEAN: Well good morning, Stephanie, and I just want to let the viewers know.
RUHLE: None of that is a surprise. I know your questions focused on the clearing of protesters in Lafayette Park, and in a separate hearing yesterday, basically at the very same time, we saw a member of the National Guard testify that chemicals were used. You told my colleague Joy Reid that Bill Barr lied under oath about his role in that event. Given all that, what are you going to do about that?
DEAN: Well, I walked him through the timeline of exactly what happened, and asked him was it coincidence, and then on "Face the Nation" when he said chemicals were not used against protesters, he said it was not chemical, I showed him exactly what was used, pepper balls which his own department said is an effective blunt force trauma instrument that dispenses chemical irritants. That's a set of lies. What are we going to do, we're going to comb through his entire statement, find the mistruths and the falsehoods and hold him accountable.
RUHLE: What does holding him accountable look like, though? Are there actual consequences?
DEAN: We have many options for consequences. I have to tell you, it was so disrespectful, the way he approached Congress, the way he approached our committee, his willingness to say one thing and in a single statement flip his answer. He did that with me when I said do you believe it's ever appropriate to use pepper balls against protesters, he said no. And then he wanted to flip back and said, well, wait a second, well, rioters, yes, he could not keep a straight answer. But what's at stake for the American people is the rule of law. This is the top law enforcement officer. As I said what he did at Lafayette Square was act as the top advance man for a campaign. He cleared the square for the president to go over with a borrowed bible and have a photo op they would use in campaign materials. Can you imagine if I used the resources of this Capitol to do such a thing, I think you would haul me right out of here. This is an Attorney General who has sworn an oath of office, swore the truth to us and I believe he should resign. I have called for that a long time ago. He's terrible for the morale of the office.
RUHLE: But then again, besides urging him to resign, you and I both know he's not going to do that. What are the actual consequences he could face? Everything you've said, disingenuous, misrepresented things, disrespectful, dishonest, I got you. Let's say all of those things are 100% true, is there anything Democrats can do to change this?
DEAN: There are things we can do, and I'm actually in conversations about this.
RUHLE: Like what?
DEAN: I don't want to preview those for you today, thank you for asking but I don't want to preview those for you today.
