The Spanish-language media have continued to downplay the violent protests going on at Portland for nearly two months, condemning the “illegal” arrests carried out by government agents protecting federal property against vandalism and destruction – and themselves --from the ultra-violent mobs.
However, this protester-friendly report from the weekend edition of Noticiero Univision actually cancelled itself in the first 19 seconds when anchor Felix De Bedout confirmed that the protesters had been anything but peaceful: “With rocks, metal, and the launching of fireworks, protesters have been confronting local police for nearly two months.”
Not a deterrent for reporter Viviana Ávila siding with the protesters that aggressively defied the federal agents with the like of “what are you protecting”? and that they “denounced having been tear gassed, and that there have been illegal arrests of protesters.”
Early this morning, hundreds of people crowded outside this federal courthouse and attempted to tear down a fence after a judge in Oregon denied an injunction limiting the actions of federal agents during these protests. Protesters asked the federal agents, “what are you protecting”? They also denounced having been tear gassed, and that there have been illegal arrests of protesters. Meanwhile, the federal police reports that many of their officers have been attacked during the heated protests, which they’ve labeled “illegal assemblies”.
As De Bedout clearly stated, the federal agents, from the Department of Homeland Security, are being deployed to protect federal installations, and as we have seen through footage and photographs that have survived the liberal media´s censorship- the rioters were in fact destroying federal property.
From calling the Portland arrests “similar to a kidnapping," to siding with violent, anti-American mobs terrorizing law-abiding citizens, the liberal Spanish-language media is completely transparent in their mission to push their political agenda above and beyond reason.
This kind of reporting effectively wipes away any “Colgate” smiles, as the brand is one of the regular enablers of disinformation in the Hispanic media. Let them know how you feel about the blatant bias they sponsor here.
