Lest anyone think that Spanish-language TV news is not part and parcel of the Regime Media, consider Telemundo’s recent firefighting for Vice President Kamala Harris’s record on immigration. The network closed their initial report on the X Space hosted by former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk by affirming that Harris was never in charge of the border.
Watch as anchor Vanessa Hauc closes out her brief report on Telemundo’s late night newscast by spinning for Harris. Below is the report in its entirety:

VANESSA HAUC: In other issues, tonight former President Trump returned to what used to be Twitter, on the social network now called X. He had a conversation with Elon Musk, the owner of that platform. The interview was delayed 40 minutes due to technical problems that Musk attributed to a cyber attack. The businessman affirmed his support for Trump's presidential candidacy and shared with the former president his criticism of undocumented immigration. Tonight, again, Trump attacked the Biden administration's work on border issues, without presenting evidence.
DONALD TRUMP: But she was the border czar and you- the people can't allow them to get away with their disinformation campaign. Now she's trying to say that she wasn't- she wasn't really involved and…the whole thing is horrible. She was totally in charge. She could have shut the border down without him. He didn't know what he was doing anyways. He wouldn't have even known what happened. You could shut the border down. He wouldn't even know the difference. But the fact is that she was border czar. But if- -you don't have to call her that. The fact is you could just call her. She was in charge of the border and the border was the worst ever.
HAUC: Well, we know that Kamala Harris was never in charge of the border.
We often call members of the Regime Media activists, but in Hauc’s case, she is a literal activist. One, apparently, who is upset with Kamala Harris being saddled with the Biden Administration’s border failures and millions of migrants released into the interior of the country and criming across our major cities.
Immigration is a sore subject within Spanish-language media, because as we’ve documented for pretty much the existence of MRC Latino, Spanish-language media depend on a steady influx of immigrants, legal or not, which renders them a Democrat client. Holding this administration, of which Harris is still a member, accountable over immigration (or anything else) is simply bad for business.
This is how Vanessa Hauc ends up affirming, without evidence, that Kamala Harris “was never in charge of the border”.
