MSNBC Celebrates Morning Joe’s Ratings ‘Winning Streak’ Over…CNN

MSNBC loves to run ads promoting its liberal “Lean Forward” programs but its latest celebratory commercial championing Morning Joe’s ratings “success” seems a bit odd.

Over the last few days a new MSNBC ad hilariously has been running proclaiming that “2014 marks the fifth straight year Morning Joe continues to beat CNN. Since 2010 Morning Joe has out-delivered CNN as the place to get the top news headlines, comprehensive analysis, and election coverage.”

The strange celebration for Morning Joe continued with the narrator proclaiming that their “winning streak continues, weekdays 6-9 a.m. only on MSNBC.”

What MSNBC forgot to mention in their “we beat CNN” ad is that CNN and MSNBC both have very low ratings compared to Fox News.

Conveniently, nowhere in the commercial did MSNBC mention that Fox News and its morning show Fox & Friends consistently dominates cable news, with its morning show consistently averaging more viewers than MSNBC and CNN combined.
