It’s Episode 29 of CensorTrack with TR. This week we talked about how YouTube censored a podcast episode featuring former President Donald Trump.
Full Send Podcast features a group of “boys havin some honest convos,” according to the Instagram page. The hosts routinely say whatever they want and maintain a “full send” mindset. They call themselves the NELK Boys, and interviewed Trump on March 10. The group posted the full video to the Full Send Podcast YouTube channel. In 24 hours, the video was the channel's top-viewed post. It reached 5 million views, according to a tweet from one of the hosts, Kyle Forgeard.
YouTube removed the video from the Full Send Podcast channel and served the group with a warning. This warning is the first mark against the account. One warning and three strikes within 90 days would result in a permanent YouTube ban.
During the interview, Trump discussed Joe Rogan, the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, his relations with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Russian President Vladamir Putin and Big Tech censorship. After YouTube deleted the content, Trump sent out a press release indicating that he predicted the video would be censored.
“Interestingly on the show I told them this would happen because Big Tech and the Fake News Media fear the truth, they fear criticism about Biden,” he said in the release. Trump also discussed the 2020 Presidential Election outcome, which appears to be why YouTube took the video down.
At the time, Full Send Podcast had 1.29 million subscribers on YouTube, which has since increased to 3 million.
