These people change their pronouns about as frequently as they change their socks!
It’s mid-way through pride month and singer Demi Lovato has decided to go back to her “she/her” pronouns. According to "GQ Hype Spain," Lovato found it “exhausting” trying to get others to use “they/them” pronouns.
Uh…maybe because there’s no such thing as “they/them” pronouns? You’re either a boy who uses “he/him” pronouns, a girl who uses “she/her” pronouns or, you’re a freak. There’s no in-between.
During the GQ interview that was translated to English via Google, Lovato expressed why she decided to use more feminine pronouns rather than the neutral “they/them” pronouns she’d been using since she came out as "non-binary" in 2021.
I constantly had to educate people and explain why I identified with those pronouns. It was absolutely exhausting. And that is one of the reasons that have led me to also feel comfortable with the feminine pronoun. I just got tired. But that's why I know that it's important to continue spreading the word.
Okay, so it’s not like Lovato is actually denying her they/them pronouns because she realized how dumb using them were, but instead, because she’s fed up having to correct people.
Here’s a solution - stop making up crap to make yourself believe and live a delusion. You’re confusing everyone.
In the interview she also stated, "For example, in public toilets. Having to access the women's bathroom, even though I don't completely identify with it. I would feel more comfortable in a genderless bathroom."
What next? You're gonna try to use a urinal?
Amid Lovato’s dramatic statement, a couple users on Twitter dropped some savage remarks about the ridiculousness of the situation.
“I imagine it really is tiring to pretend to be something that doesn’t exist,” one guy said.
“Attention seeking [clown emoji]” said another and one more tweeted, “Celebrities are starting to get bored with their new religion.....”
This is just another scam for a failing artist to gain attention. I bet in a couple of weeks Demi will change her pronouns again, shave her head or announce a pregnancy…anything to stay “relevant.”
