For the past nine months (and thus for most of the coronavirus pandemic), actress Melissa McCarthy has settled in Australia to film a TV series and set up shop in an upscale Australian suburb, so it’s no wonder she’s bashing the U.S. and American citizens for having rejected science with some (read: Trump supporters) responsible for “hatred” and “violence” that could destroy the country.
In an interview with InStyle magazine, McCarthy let it rip: “I truly didn't think people hated each other that much or hated the idea of people who they don't even know.” She also added, “I know COVID-19 is the virus, but the real virus is the violence and the hatred. If anything's going to extinguish us as a species, it's that.”
COVID, as well as her now bystander view, has reinforced her bitterness towards America. America has showered McCarthy with $90 million, fame and status. She gives back nothing but hate.
She continued: "I always wonder, ’Do racists know anyone of a different color?’ People who are homophobic: ‘Do you know anyone gay or bi or trans? Do you know these people, or is it the great unknown?’”
And do wealthy actresses know anyone who doesn’t share their liberalism?
Still, she’s a good partisan Democrat. She told InStyle that she felt the proudest that she had in a while over Joe Biden’s inauguration (she cried watching it).
Not only did she praise Biden, she also professed her admiration for Dr. Anthony Fauci, Michelle Obama, and Bill Gates, who are among the leading figures of the leftie mob.
As an avid fan of Fauci, it was no surprise that McCarthy is such an advocate for masks. During the interview, she added:
If somebody said, "All you have to do is wear this head-wrap and you can cure cancer," people would be like, "Oh my god, that's amazing. We would do anything for that." And we're saying, "There's up to an 80 percent chance for this disease to decrease if you just wear this little 3-by-5-inch piece of fabric until we figure it out." Somehow that's become an infringement on someone's rights.
Note that she professed the need for masks but left the U.S. so she could film a movie with less restrictions. When COVID put a damper in her plans, she left. Who is she to talk about following social distancing and mask wearing restrictions?
The clear entitlement McCarthy thinks she possesses to bash the country that pays her bills is disgusting but it's nothing new for the antics of Tinseltown.
