Nausea-inducing: Madden 22 Rates Kaepernick Higher Than Three Active QBs

Colin Kaepernick Madden 21 imageWhy is Colin Kaepernick included as a quarterback in the Madden 22 NFL video game? He’s been OUT of the pro football game for five years. It’s because EA, which produces the game, is evidently interested in profiting off social justice warrior dollars.

Madden 22 debuts Friday, and EA tried to focus on making the atmosphere of the game “feel more true to life.” That focus died right out of the starting gate.

If EA truly wanted to make Madden 22 “more true to life,” it should have created a video game featuring Kaepernick (seen in his Madden 21 image in above photo) wearing out his knee pads. Along with him taking verbal and social media pot shots at public safety officers.

To make things even more ridiculous than Kaepernick’s mere inclusion in the dubious video game, EA has rated the has-been above three active quarterbacks still playing in the NFL. They are Kirk Cousins, Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert, the NFC’s 2020 offensive rookie of the year. Kaepernick hasn’t played a down of pro football since the 2016 season.

If EA is going to include retired quarterbacks, how about 1937 NFL champion quarterback, Sammy Baugh, scrambling Fran Tarketon and the Packer’s legend Bart Starr. Sorry, they are not near woke enough.

EA previously defended its decision to include Kaepernick in its Madden editions with this statement.:

“Knowing that our EA Sports experiences are platforms for players to create, we want to make Madden NFL a place that reflects Colin’s position and talent, rates him as a starting QB, and empowers our fans to express their hopes for the future of football. We’ve worked with Colin to make this possible, and we’re excited to bring it to all of you today.”

Obviously, EA has worked with Colin – to make this shake-down hustler’s radical activism all the more profitable. As has Nike. Who needs to take vicious NFL hits, to expend blood and sweat, to earn a living when you can trash your country and law enforcement officers with truckloads of cash coming your way courtesy of EA? Certainly not Kaepernick.

The Madden 21 video game rated Kaepernick ahead of 14 active quarterbacks. And his signature touchdown celebration was raising a “Black Power” fist in defiance of the country that made him fabulously wealthy.

You can lump EA in with Black Lives Matter, the NFL and Nike. They’re all cut from the same woke cloth. Money-bags Kaepernick is definitely not going broke from going woke.
