U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a stern warning Friday, after federal law enforcement arrested four individuals – including former CNN host Don Lemon – in connection with the disruption of a church service.
“Make no mistake: under President Trump’s leadership and this administration, you have the right to worship freely and safely,” AG Bondi says in a two-sentence, 16-second, video posted on social media.
“And, if I haven’t been clear already, if you violate that sacred right, we are coming after you,” Bondi added.
Earlier in the morning, Bondi reported the arrests, promising to provide “more details soon”:
“At my direction, early this morning federal agents arrested Don Lemon, Trahern Jeen Crews, Georgia Fort, and Jamael Lydell Lundy, in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.”
The assault on the church on January 18 was perpetrated by an organized mob of rioters, as NewsBusters explained:
“According to multiple reports and a statement from his attorney Abbe Lowell, former CNN anchor and far-left pundit Don Lemon was arrested late Thursday night in Los Angeles by federal authorities for his role in the January 18 storming of a St. Paul area church by an organized mob of far-left rioters under the guise of protesting the January 7 death of Renee Good and an alleged pastor’s role with Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE).
“According to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Lemon was one of four new arrests in connection to this incident, bringing the total to seven.”
