“The name of Jesus was certainly heard at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service today,” Reverend Franklin Graham proclaimed Sunday, thanking God for how the speakers at the event praised Kirk’s open and devout faith.

“Speaker after speaker lifted up Jesus Christ, and this included many of President @realDonaldTrump ’s cabinet. The Gospel was clearly shared for all who were listening,” Rev. Graham explained in a social media post.

“As I watched, I couldn’t help but say, ‘Thank You Lord!’  Graham wrote, echoing Vice President JD Vance’s observation that “the service wasn’t a funeral—it was a revival!”

“It is my prayer that Charlie’s voice will be multiplied as thousands of young people step up to speak truth on our college campuses, including the eternal Truth of the Gospel,” Graham wrote.

Rev. Graham said he was proud of Kirk’s widow, Eric, for having the strength of faith to forgive her husband’s killer in her remarks.

“This is not a time to be angry,” Edward Graham, the reverend’s son and COO of Samaritan’s Purse, agreed in a Newsmax interview:

“This is not, I believe, a time to even look at Charlie as a Christian martyr and want some kind of revenge. Charlie wouldn’t want that, I believe.”

Still, Kirk was murdered for his outspoken Christian message, Edward said:

“It wasn’t his political views that evil struck out and an evil individual killed and murdered this man in front of millions, in front of the world.”

“It wasn’t his political views - it was his love for Christ that I believe is why he was attacked.”

Nonetheless, “This is not a time to live in fear, but to be bold,” he said:

“Charlie wants the world to be bold and go out and share the good news of Jesus Christ.”
