Pardoned Father to Fox News: Soros-Backed Prosecutor ‘One of the Most Evil People I've Ever Met’

A father recently pardoned by Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin joined Fox News to denounce the George Soros-backed prosecutor obsessed with locking him up for daring to defend his daughter.

In an interview with Fox News host John Roberts, Scott Thomas Smith, who was pardoned by Governor Youngkin on Sept.10, slammed Loudoun County Commonwealth Attorney Buta Biberaj.  Biberaj pursued draconian charges against Smith after he protested at a Loudoun County School Board meeting for his daughter who was sexually assaulted in a school bathroom by a “transgender student,” according to the Daily Mail.  "She's one of the most evil people I've ever met. Unfortunately, I had to deal with her face-to-face with the prosecution of the sexual predator of my daughter,” Smith said on America Reports, before adding: “We need to vote her out.”

Soros reportedly dumped $659,000 to help Biberaj narrowly win her election in 2019.

Smith’s broadside against Biberaj comes after her unhinged response to Governor Youngkin’s decision to end this injustice. Biberaj, who was elected with the help of Soros cash, tweeted that the governor had pardoned Smith for “political gain.” The shameless partisan went so far as to claim that the governor’s pardon of the father was an “unprecedented and inappropriate intervention” in a statement on September 10.

Youngkin had granted an “absolute pardon” to the father, who was arrested in August of 2021. Smith was arrested for a verbal confrontation with an attendee at the School Board meeting over the incident.

The governor’s decision to end this miscarriage of justice apparently offended Biberaj, who was kicked off Smith’s case in September 2022, for her clear bias against him. According to Smith’s attorney, Biberaj “took it upon herself to personally prosecute” his client. In her statement, Biberaj harangued Younkin for not letting the case go to trial.

Biberaj represents the soft-on-crime Soros brand well. She became notorious for announcing in early 2023 that “her office would no longer prosecute certain misdemeanor charges.” It appears that she was willing to make an exception to that rule to target a father defending his daughter. Notably, Biberaj also signed an activist pledge not to prosecute abortions following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the infamous Roe v. Wade (1973) ruling. She also signed a similar pledge to not enforce laws against the genital mutilation of children.

It’s pretty clear where Biberaj’s allegiance lies, and it’s certainly not with justice.
