During an interview which will air in its entirety on CBS’s Face The Nation, CBS News Chief Foreign Correspondent and Face The Nation moderator Margaret Brennan pressed Speaker Mike Johnson on the need to fund more immigration judges so as to address the backflow of asylum claims, as our southern border remains collapsed under the pressure of the ongoing migrant surge.

ABC World News Tonight closed out a report on the ongoing Republican presidential primary by echoing Biden campaign talking points on upcoming campaign stops, which are aimed at highlighting “the stakes” of the 2024 election.

Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court Clarence Thomas has been a target of the left for decades. But that targeting has intensified as of late, and is now exposed as part of a broader effort to intimidate the Supreme Court ahead of the 2024 Trump docket.

During the predictions portion of the final CNN State of the Union panel of the year, senior political commentator Scott Jennings delivered a short and brutal smackdown of President Joe Biden that left the panel simultaneously gasping, groaning, and laughing nervously.

Nothing says “reasoned, valid legal analysis” like Colorado’s Secretary of State coming on MSNBC to congratulate Maine for throwing former President Donald Trump off the ballot.

There has been some network news reporting of the massive incoming migrant caravan, inasmuch as it is timed to coincide with the visit of Secretaries of State and Homeland Security Antony Blinken and Alejandro Mayorkas to Mexico, where they are scheduled to meet with government officials (and perhaps with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, AKA AMLO) on how to deal with the ongoing…

Cable news continues to air live programming despite this, the week after Christmas, being a ratings wasteland mostly destined for year-end recaps and the like. Such is NOT the case on CNN, which makes the most of this time in order to advance a narrative previously debunked on CNN air.

CNN’s Christmas Eve edition of State of the Union with Jake Tapper earned itself a huge lump of coal by devoting its entire hour to climate propaganda. In other words, religious counterprogramming. It is here that former Vice President Al Gore came on and blamed populist movements around the world on, you guessed it…climate change.

You just know that things are bad when the network evening newscasts have to actually make the time to report on the ongoing explosion at the southern border. Tonight, all three networks reported on the record detentions this week. None, however, reported on the White House's tie-in to the awful prisoner swap with the Maduro dictatorship in Venezuela.

The network evening newscasts were unsure whether to hail, cover neutrally, or condemn the latest U.S. prisoner swap with an authoritarian regime. In this case, the exchange with Venezuela’s Maduro dictatorial regime, which returned his notorious bagman, Alex Saab, in exchange for fugitive “Fat Leonard” and 10 additional hostages.

The evening network newscasts delivered their breaking news reports on the Colorado Supreme Court decision disqualifying former President Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot with little substance, but plenty of emotional impact. 

During a panel discussion regarding the impeachment inquiry against Hunter Biden, former White House Press Secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki let loose on what she (and probably her former comrades at the White House) think of Hunter’s Capitol press conference prior to blowing off his scheduled closed-door testimony: to wit, very little.

The Acela Media are still abuzz over a controversial segment of former President Donald Trump’s remarks in Durham, New Hampshire, and two of the major evening network newscasts continued to parrot Biden campaign talking points in a scramble to turn Trump into Literally Hitler.
