The major evening network newscasts each melted down over former President’s “Day One Dictator” joke during a town hall event with Fox News host Sean Hannity, seizing on the remarks to further push a “threats to democracy” narrative. Only one of these networks was honest enough to show that the purpose of such coverage was to pushing Biden taking points.

It's one thing to hear our friend Curtis Houck refer to MSNBC’s Deadline White House as “Rich Liberal Wine Mom Story Hour”, but hoo boy, it’s entirely another to actually sit through an episode of this dreck. Beyond dreck, today's episode featured extremely dangerous rhetoric.

You’ll be absolutely not shocked to discover that none of the major three network evening newscasts found the time to report news of a non-prosecution, to wit: the non-prosecution of President Joe Biden or any of his staff in the classified documents case under investigation by Special Counsel Robert Hur.

“Revenge presidency” a term you’ll hear a lot from the Acela Media after former President Donald Trump’s interview with Televisa anchor Enrique Acevedo. NBC’s Kristin Welker tried it on RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel, and quickly regretted it.

The Acela Media have gone into howling conniptions over the idea that U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) might run for president in 2024. U.S. Senator Joe Manchin’s announcement today that he is not running for re-election sent shockwaves throughout the Acela Media, worried about the imperilment of both the Democrats’ Senate majority and the Biden presidency. But that panic was most palpable on ABC, which ran wild quotes against a Manchin run.

Such is the derangement passing for analysis at MSNBC that tonight’s post-debate analysis featured dismay at the thought of candidates discussing (gasp) IDEAS and not flaying Donald Trump to their liking.
