Economist/YouGuv: 40 percent. Unsurprisingly, the networks skipped coverage of the latest terrible news for the President.

For the second weekend in a row, Politico’s Sam Stein guest hosted MSNBC’s Velshi. On this Saturday, Stein accused pro-lifers in Kansas of “essentially trick their citizens into voting away their own rights” on an upcoming ballot measure on August 2.

CNN senior legal analyst Laura Coates guest hosted Friday’s edition of Don Lemon Tonight where she and her guests hyped California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s “trolling” of the Supreme Court and Texas on the issue of gun control.

After minimal coverage Friday morning of the violent assassination attempt of New York Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin as he campaigned for governor, ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS Evening News downplayed the attack with the latter calling the weapon just a keychain.
