CNN Boosts Obama's State of the Union With Wes Anderson-Style Video

On Monday, CNN Politics's Chris Moody and Alexander Rosen promoted/paid tribute to President Obama's final State of the Union address by producing an online video in the style of movie director Wes Anderson. Moody narrated the video, which spotlighted a pro-ObamaCare moment from the President's 2015 speech to Congress, where Senator Marco Rubio and other Republicans refused to stand and applaud.

Mitchell Fears Benghazi Movie ‘Conspiracy Theories’ Will Hurt Hillary

On her MSNBC show on Monday, host Andrea Mitchell derided the film 13 Hours, opening in theaters nationwide on Friday: “That new film about Benghazi coming out this week could give wider circulation to conspiracy theories, despite denials, that CIA operatives were told to stand down and not rescue four Americans, including an ambassador, who died in that assault.”

Ellen Hails Hillary: ‘You Know What a Supporter I Am’

Just weeks before the Iowa Caucus, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres again gave Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton a softball platform to promote her candidacy. At one point, DeGeneres reiterated her endorsement of Clinton: “And you know what a supporter I am. I think that you’re as smart as can be, I think you are qualified, I think you stand for everything that I want in a president.”

ABC Slams ‘Outrage’ of Sean Penn’s Interview With El Chapo

Even the journalists at ABC News, who have their own problems with journalistic ethics, were disgusted by Rolling Stone having Sean Penn interview the drug lord known as El Chapo. Legal analyst Dan Abrams appeared on Good Morning America, Monday, to decry, “I think he [Penn] did something wrong here. In particular, I think Rolling Stone did something wrong here, journalistically.”
