Fans of Netflix's Stranger Things might remember Erica Sinclair, Lucas' little sister who stole the show in season two. She's back in season three and an absolute American hero. Not only does she join the team to save the world from the Russians, she makes sure everyone understands that it's all about capitalism versus communism. 

HBO’s Euphoria gets off on showing probably the worst liberal entertainment has to offer, whether it’s statutory rape, way too many penises, or teenagers becoming cam girls. The July 7 episode continues that trend featuring those things and more with a deeper look at the show’s transgender teenager.

It took quite a journey to get there, but Showtime’s Our Cartoon President found a way to call a group of conservatives a "white-power rally" and President Trump the "Grand Wizard." Along the way, prominent conservatives in public life, like Ben Shapiro, were dragged into the fray.

Into the Dark, Hulu’s monthly dark anthology show based around holidays, is mostly a mixed bag series at best. However, it has fortunately mostly kept away from politics. Unfortunately, the show takes a sudden over-dramatic turn to the left with its Fourth of July episode “Culture Shock.” Let’s just say no one’s rushing to say “God Bless America” in this show.

The July 2 episode of Freeform’s Good Trouble, titled “Doble Quince,” was written around the quinceañera Jazmin Martinez (Hallie Sahar)  never had. Not to put too fine of a point on it but the reason the transgender woman didn’t have a quinceañera is because at the age of 15 years old, when the coming-of-age celebrations traditionally happen in the Latino community, “she” was a he.

On Friday, June 21, Netflix debuted it’s latest comedy series, Mr. Iglesias. The premise of the show is endearing, and seems like a true gem—a nice flick to put on after work—amidst all the junk Netflix puts out now a days. However, Netflix still managed to tint this one with shades of liberal bias and low jabs at conservatives.

On the second episode of BBC’s Years and Years, which aired in the United States on HBO July 1, the woes of the Lyons family have become more catastrophic. A year has passed since the nuking of the Chinese island of Hong Sha Do in the final days of the Trump presidency, which has brought about sanctions and trade wars.

Out of the mouths of babes, as they say! When it’s Hollywood babes, however, what comes out of their mouths isn’t always very cute or funny. Such was the case on HBO’s hit drama Big Little Lies which is on its second season after the first received rave reviews. On Sunday’s episode, “She Knows,” the writers of thought it would be amusing to have a little boy call God a “douchebag.”

Watching HBO’s Euphoria is a lot like watching the recent Democratic primary debates. Each experience will slowly kill your faith in humanity. However, only one of these things includes an excruciating plot of a high school student granting sexual favors to grown men online and nearly thirty photos of erect penises. With those options, give me Beto O’Rourke speaking broken Spanish any day.

What better way for a silly liberal animated cartoon show to mock President Trump’s views on global warming than for him to embrace its reality because he is profusely sweating? Trump is convinced by the Generals – Mattis, McMaster, and Kelly – to support finding solutions to global warming to save the planet, and the military, too.

Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale has now gone so far left that it’s hard to make any sense of it anymore. This season’s appeals to fake refugee and child-molesting priests narratives were already bad enough, but the latest episode takes things to a new level with more bizarre anti-Christian sentiments, including a Nazi parallel. I guess nothing’s too outrageous so long as it insults a massive religion.

A group of vigilantes, Los Vigilantes, in an eastside Los Angeles Latino neighborhood is not happy that the large outdoor mural on the side wall of Vida’s bar has been replaced with a Mexican beer ad. In the June 23 season two finale of the Starz show Vida, titled “Chapter 16,” the group targets two Latina sisters over the issue of gentrification.

BBC One’s limited series Years and Years tells the story of the Lyons family living in the United Kingdom between 2019 and 2034. Episode 1, which premiered in the United States on HBO on June 24, quickly shows us that President Trump will be reelected in 2020, but ends with the vision of Trump having just fired nuclear missiles at China.

The 2019 BET Awards were held on Sunday night, hosted by actress Regina Hall.
