With the onslaught of feminist propaganda in the media and man-hating becoming the latest trend, the only solution is to laugh at it all the way. As a sitcom, TVLand’s Teachers attempts to do its part by showing us how ridiculous extreme feminism can look in real life. At least, I hope that’s what it’s doing.

But the Monday, December 4 episode, “Error of Admission” had its white characters “whitesplain” affirmative action to a black character, encouraging him to use the color of his skin as an advantage when applying to schools.

A two-front storyline about an American Muslim P.O.W. on CW’s Valor was presented in the episode titled “About Face” that aired on December 4. How the husband and wife involved cope with the stresses of fake news reports alleging that the soldier could be tied to radical Islam was intermingled throughout the show.

Wowzer! Taking the low road against conservatives and the Trump administration is nothing new for Chelsea Handler to do on her weekly Netflix show. But, on the December 1 episode titled “Dinner Party: Scandalous,” the Chelsea host may have sunk to a new personal low. She went after White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in a crudely personal way. 

An impersonation of former President Barack Obama used during the filming of a sex tape lands the lead character in Showtime’s White Famous in hot water with the black community. The December 3 episode is titled “Scandal.”

Shameless follows a large working-class family whose youngest child, Liam, is black and in a private elementary school. Despite her attempts to reach across the aisle, Sarah Silverman’s Hulu show I Love You, America With Sarah Silverman rarely shows anything conservatives may enjoy. This time, we skip the pretense and find her openly campaigning for the left with her latest guest, Paul Ryan’s 2018 election opponent. At least she’s being honest now.

As with most streaming shows of late, at least the ones that try to be edgy (which means pretty much all of them), it takes a minute to process what you’ve watched sometimes. Such is the case with Netflix’s Lady Dynamite which so far tops the list of confusing and bizarre streaming shows.

Teachers, a TVLand comedy series set in a public elementary school, got oddly political in their Halloween episode which, for some reason, aired on November 29, when they erroneously claimed that public schools don't teach students about Native Americans.
