An attorney by profession, Vanessa Viera served on the Platform Committee of the 2012 Republican National Convention. In 2013, she founded Latinopublicans.com, a bilingual, online news and information forum for conservative Latinos. From 2009 to 2012, Viera served in the administration of former Puerto Rico Governor Luis Fortuño (R) as Deputy Secretary of State.
