Bibiana Posada is a recent graduate of Penn State University, where she earned her a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, graduating summa cum laude. During her time at Penn State, she completed an honors thesis focused on Latino voters and the 2024 presidential election, which involved conducting political research in two states. She was awarded the Steven. A Peterson Award in recognition of her research and outstanding academic efforts. 

In addition to her academic experience, Bibiana has participated in Congressional advocacy, working alongside constituents from across the country and engaging with policymakers from across the country. She plans to attend law school in the future and, through this news busters internship, hopes to gain hands-on experience evaluating media coverage while strengthening her understanding of how journalism, public policy, and public opinion intersect.
