As we’ve often said: what the Elitist Media cover on their newscasts and Sunday political affairs shows is almost as important as what they DON’T cover. This was the case with the Democrat Senate candidate from Maine: Graham Platner, where there was no mention of him at all. But the latest sexting allegations have forced a change. 

The Elitist Media don’t often pass up on an opportunity to convey their disappointment in the American people, which is part of what makes them the Elitist Media. Memorial Day is no different, as CBS’s Margaret Brennan closes out an interview of two Medal of Honor recipients by trying to get them to bash America.

The horrid White House Correspondent’s Dinner shooting was, as is to be reasonably expected, top of mind across the Sunday show dial and on the minds of the respective hosts. For some of their guests, it was an opportunity to weave partisan talking points into concern over the shooting and its aftermath.

The Elitist Media continue to circle their wagons around embattled Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL), providing near-zero coverage of the latest episode in this ongoing saga. The omission campaign has now extended to the Sunday political affairs shows which, with one exception, a throwaway segment on CBS’s Face the Nation.

In the latest edition of CBS’s Face the Nation on Sunday, host Margaret Brennen spent her interviews with U.N. Ambassador Mike Waltz and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte as opportunities to drive a wedge between the U.S. and international organizations, like NATO and the United Nations. 

Thursday’s CBS Evening News featured a preview of an upcoming interview on Sunday’s Face the Nation in which host Margaret Brennan — whom one could consider the network’s Karen and most meme-able personality — partnered with the head of the United Nation’s nuclear watchdog to paint a doom-and-gloom picture that, no matter what President Trump does with Iran, America will fail…

I’m old enough to remember when assassination attempts against sitting or former Presidents of the United States were covered by the Elitist Media as a breaking top story. Apparently, not anymore and certainly not on Sunday mornings if it means cutting into D.C.-based political affairs shows.

As you may know by now, there is an ongoing environmental disaster that threatens to, well, soil our nation’s 250th birthday celebration in the Washington, D.C. metro area and beyond. A burst pipe has dumped millions of gallons of raw sewage into the Potomac River, which poses a major problem once springtime comes to the nation’s Capital.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered an address before the Munich Security Conference that was warmly received and met with rapturous applause. And if you were waiting for the Elitist Media’s Sunday shows’ analyses, you might think the speech never happened at all. 

Margaret Brennan’s interview with Venezuelan leader María Corina Machado on Face the Nation ended with a familiar point of grievance that the Elitist Media have a hard time letting go of: her giving the Nobel Peace Prize medal to President Donald Trump during her recent White House visit.

The Elitist Media circled the wagons in the immediate aftermath of the indictment and arrest of former CNN anchor Don Lemon over the many civil rights violations committed in the protest-swarm of Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota on January 18th. But after the initial swarm of coverage, the Sunday political shows appeared to be hedging on Lemon.

It increasingly appears that the Detained Kid Hoax was set to be this year’s Kids in Cages- a catalyst for media-fueled outrage with which Elitist Media would attempt to browbeat Republicans appearing on their shows. But, as demonstrated on CBS’s Face the Nation, this doesn’t always work.

The Elitist Media’s Sunday shows, in furtherance of preserving MInnesota’s civil unrest over interior immigration enforcement, booked Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for another round of softballs and patty-cake. With perhaps one exception, they all enabled his inflammatory rhetoric.

In an episode of The Barbara Gaines Show posted on Friday, former CBS’s Late Show host David Letterman was in old-man-yells-at-the-clouds mood as he lamented the impending cancellation of his old show and seethed over CBS News as now being run by “idiots” — ostensibly referring to Paramount Skydance chairman David Ellison and CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss — who’ve “eviscerated”…
