On his eponymous Sunday morning show, MSNBC's Ali Velshi let Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) compare ICE agents to slave patrols and claim they are committing crimes, and Velshi fretted that President Donald Trump is creating a police force that is "lacking accountability," and agreed with Crockett's assertions that the way to fight crime is with poverty programs and focusing on guns.…

On Friday afternoon's Deadline: White House, MSNBC was back to promoting incendiary rhetoric against Republicans as State Rep. Justin Pearson (D-TN) appeared as a guest and claimed that President Donald Trump's push to use the National Guard to cut crime is motivated by "white supremacist ideology" and asserted that ICE agents are committing "terrorism" in blue cities.

In a letter sent to Friday morning, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts and President Brian Roberts teamed with Mark Lazarus as head of Versant (the new company consisting of spun off cable networks, including CNBC and MSNBC) to demand all company employees get their acts together and show more compassion in light of Charlie Kirk’s assassination while focusing on “fostering civil dialogue.”

On Thursday afternoon, it was unmistakable that MSNBC host Katy Tur was looking to turn the page following Wednesday’s disastrous in which Tur and her assembled guests (such as Matthew Dowd) stepped on one proverbial rake after another with Notable Quotable-worthy first reactions to a Utah Valley University shooting that we would soon learn was the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Writing Thursday morning at his Substack, our friend, conservative talk radio host, and 2025 MRC Bulldog Award winner Erick Erickson laid out the stakes of the evil before us following Wednesday’s assassination of Charlie Kirk, the media’s role in our body politic, and calling Christians to remember the commission to be God’s light in a broken world.
