On Morning Joe, New Republic editor Michael Tomasky blames tne "right-wing media" for the public's approval of Trump's transition.  He singles out Rupert Murdoch for particular opprobrium. Tomasky is nostalgic for the days when there was "common civic agreement about basic morality in public life." Translation: when the liberal media set the agenda.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid perhaps may never come to terms with President-elect Trump’s November victory. Tuesday night’s episode of The ReidOut included the host hilariously downplaying Trump’s entire campaign while ridiculing the various CEOs and Republican politicians who had voiced their support for Trump.

Joe Scarborough is frustrated by the Democrats having lost Ohio to the Republicans, despite low household income in Ohio, and yet voters supporting a Republican government "of, by, and for" billionaires.  If you just read the transcript, you might have thought it was Bernie Sanders, the socialist senator from Vermont, not Scarborough.

MSNBC’s Sunday shows followed a characteristically redundant script while discussing the newly reached settlement in President-elect Trump’s defamation suit with ABC News. For decades, the liberal media establishment showed open hostility toward conservative powerhouse William F. Buckley, as well as for the broader conservative movement he helped launch.

On Saturday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend, the three co-hosts and two guests all expressed support for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to supplant Gerry Connolly as the ranking minority member on the House Oversight Committee. Julian Castro hailed AOC's "fighting spirit."
