CNN didn’t waste any time heaping praise on President Biden for his State of the Union address on Tuesday night with Jake Tapper proclaiming his performance was “quintessential Biden” and Van Jones declaring that “Uncle Joe is back”

Moments after President Joe Biden finished his divisive State of the Union address and walked away from the podium on the House floor Tuesday night, MSNBC’s initial reaction was to whine that the speech didn’t attack Republicans enough. 

This is where the leftist media’s priorities lie. On Tuesday evening, while previewing President Joe Biden’s upcoming State of the Union address, both CBS’s Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell and NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt worried that Russian President Vladimir Putin could potentially “upstage” Biden during his speech by launching a “deadly attack” on Ukraine. 

As MRC’s Free Speech America noted Tuesday afternoon, DirecTV yanked RT America off its airwaves due to its role as Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s personal mouthpiece in the U.S. as he wages war against the innocent people of Ukraine. The mission statement of ABC News, and other media outlets, appears to be this: It’s our job to protect you from reality.
