Thursday’s CBS Mornings did its part to continue the liberal gloating after Tuesday’s midterms results, including the time-old tradition of fawning over diversity victories. This time, co-host and Democratic donor Gayle King marveled over Democrat Wes Moore winning the governor’s mansion in a “historic victory” for deep-blue Maryland.

For Rep. Liz Cheney and Democrats who have lost, Thursday’s MSNBC Reports had good news: you can still land a cushy job in the Biden Administration or even run for president.

Despite poor-quality candidates limiting GOP victories in the midterms, Republicans were set to take control of the House and could still take the Senate. But still, the cast of ABC’s The View were lecturing Republicans on Thursday about what their victory meant and suggested that Americans didn’t care about inflation; as they whined about not having a “supermajority.”

MSNBC’s post-election coverage continued Wednesday night and during the 11 PM Eastern hour, the assortment of panelists tried to explain why the economy didn’t dominate in the way it was expected to. For Stephanie Ruhle, this was because while “we’re bitching and moaning” about inflation, “we’re contributing to it,” which makes it less of an electoral issue.
