What followed was a tale of the entire Stephanopoulos family weeping in the car for 45 minutes when George told his family that Ruth Bader Ginsburg had died. 

On  CNN's New Day, Irin Carmon, an arch-feminist and CNN contributor and author of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg fan book "Notorious RBG," says that if Republicans had a sense of shame and hypocrisy: "We certainly would not have a Justice Brett Kavanaugh, after Christine Blasey Ford testified."

The hosts of CBS This Morning on Monday adopted a frantic tone, demanding to know just how Democrats would stop Donald Trump from putting a conservative woman on the Supreme Court. Talking to Senator Amy Klobuchar, co-host Anthony Mason pressed, “What are Democrats prepared to do to fight back?”

CNN political analyst Gloria Borger sounded like a DNC operative as she lobbied to keep a conservative justice off the Supreme Court: 

One can expect a round of eulogies in appreciations when a longtime leader on the Supreme Court dies, but when "feminist icon" Ruth Bader Ginsburg died, the level of praise was so thick, she was celebrated as a force for "liberty" and as a figure of "great righteousness" in the Jewish tradition.

At news that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had passed, NY Magazine’s Rebecca Traister appeared on MSNBC’s All In With Chris Hayes to have an emotional breakdown panicking about how the evil right wing was succeeding in gutting the left’s “major legal victories” of the past fifty years.
