Responding to the President’s latest self-inflicted error Tuesday by questioning the loyalty of Jewish voters to their faith, MSNBC’s Hardball all but memory holed the whole reason the kerfuffle arose to begin with, which was the blatant anti-Semitism from Congresswomen Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). 

There comes a time when everyone needs to take a holiday, so it would behoove Chris Matthews to heed this advice soon. Seeing as this past week of Hardball has proven to be a stumbling block for new, creative ways to insult President Trump, Wednesday night’s episode followed the same, banal pattern.

I have to admit it is breathtaking. There is one media figure after another simply making up American history from scratch. In particular the history of presidents speaking to the nation on the Fourth of July, not to mention the presence of tanks and other military hardware at national celebrations in Washington.

On Tuesday’s Hardball, MSNBC host Chris Matthews and MSNBC contributor/Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan openly speculated whether President Trump has told the CIA to not carry out covert operations or compile intelligence against North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and that he would willfully accept help from the Russians to get him reelected.

The bar for “collusion” just keeps getting lower. According to MSNBC political director Chuck Todd, an Attorney General briefing his own President about a soon-to-be-released report now meets the standard. 

MSNBC’s Hardball took quite a bizarre turn on Tuesday when far-left MSNBC contributor Zerlina Maxwell attempted to sing the praises of colleague Malcolm Nance when fellow panelist Andrew Sullivan blurted out “Jesus Lord” in disgust that Maxwell (or presumably anyone) would cite such a “complete fantasist” who “spreads so many conspiracy theories and nonsense.”

The Michael Jackson documentary “Leaving Neverland” came up on Friday’s edition of Real Time With Bill Maher. The documentary reflects very negatively on the King of Pop, who spent much of the second half of his life facing allegations of pedophilia. Not surprisingly, Maher and the liberals on his panel could not resist comparing Jackson to their least favorite person on Earth: President Trump.

Morning Joe had an F-word for President Trump today. No, not that F-word. Another one: "felony." Nine times in the show's opening segment, Joe Scarborough, Nick Confessore and Michael Steele accused President Trump of committing a "felony" in connection with alleged hush money payments. 

It appears that former RNC chairman, Michael Steele, is suffering from extreme Trump Derangement Syndrome every bit as much as MSNBC Deadline: White House host Nicole Wallace who describes herself as a "recovering Republican." On Sunday’s Kasie DC, the MSNBC panelists did their best to have it both ways when it came to the liberal media-fueled controversy involving the Covington High School students. Over the course of their discussion, they insisted that the story symbolized the need to be careful when jumping to conclusions while plowing ahead by placing the students alongside neo-Nazis, the KKK, and segregationist…

Between Saturday morning and Sunday night, CNN and MSNBC spent 53 minutes and 20 seconds on the fallout from Friday's confrontation between Covington High School students in Washington for the March for Life, a Native American veteran named Nathan Phillips, and the Black Israelites. 29 of those minutes came before anyone realized that perhaps things weren’t as they wanted it to appear. On Tuesday’s 11th Hour, host Brian Williams tag-teamed with guests James Carville and Michael Steele to trash President Trump’s primetime address, but even this — um — special trio couldn’t escape two segments talking about the night’s events without absolutely lampooning the much-maligned and parodied Democratic response by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt on reporting in the age of Trump: “I think we have to be careful about the breathlessness.... I think it's important to try to keep your perspective.” This remark was heard over the weekend at the annual Los Angeles Politicon, which describes itself as the “Unconventional Political Convention” that draws the “biggest names in politics and entertainment.”

Tuesday’s Hardball saw host Chris Matthews and a few of his guests come locked and loaded for battle, illustrating the left’s rabid desire to convict Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh in the court of public opinion and perhaps a future court of law based on, at best, wobbly evidence. With cameos from SiriusXM’s Zerlina Maxwell and everyone’s favorite fake Republican in The Washington Post’s…
