Can Miley Cyrus’s 15 minutes of fame be over? Please? The pop tart has a new plan to be ‘inclusive’ of transgender and ‘gender expansive’ persons – an Instagram campaign! How progressive.
Yesterday, she posted on both Twitter and Instagram the following message:
Of course, this welcoming promotion immediately garnered support everywhere from Time to Marie Claire to E! Online, who fawned: “This is so awesome!”
Time took the opportunity to note Cyrus’s welcoming stance toward the LGBT community, saying, “’I can stand on a stage with my tits out … It’s so unfair that I’m allowed to be like this and there are two men that can’t get married in f—ing Nashville right now.’”
Sure. It’s ‘unfair’ – absolutely. So put your shirt back on and we can all be perfectly fair.
Cyrus seems to have a penchant for strange campaigns, so #InstaPride is hardly coming out of nowhere. Her quote above refers to when she posted explicit pictures all over the internet as part of a ‘Free the Nipples’ movement. It was praised nearly univearally, decency be damned.
Cyrus continues pushing the far-left social agenda with her latest #InstaPride post, which focused on a very … nuanced … ’gender identity’:
And apparently even the English language isn’t safe from forced compliance to the LGBT movement’s vision.
One thing that Cyrus recognizes is true enough … she can do no wrong by the media as long as she’s crazy and liberal. Remember her comment, “I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age.” Heard of Pandora’s box? Salon loved it.
Unfortunately, Cyrus’s stamp of approval through #InstaPride is likely an important step to normalizing the culture of trans he-s, she-s, and they-s.
