Let the Gaffes Begin: Hillary's Original Campaign Bio Said She 'Fought Children and Families'

With months (really years) to prepare, the allegedly well-oiled Hillary Clinton for President machine still managed to produce a howler of a mistake in her campaign bio's debut. Since corrected, it originally stated that "she's fought children and families all her career."

This and other obvious gaffes are likely destined to go unreported by the Hillary-worshipping establishment press, while the slighest of real or imagined mistakes — up to and including supposedly taking an untimely drink of water — will become media obsessions for the next 19 months.

Here is a picture (HT Twitchy) of a portion of the bio containing the erroneous text:

Gosh, if a Republican presidential candidate's staff got this sloppy with so much time to prepare, the press would already be commenting on his or her campaign's "disarrary" and "poor organization."

Hillary has a long way to go to catch up to the 242 gaffes committed by Barack Obama accumulated here by Blonde Gator. But I have a feeling that she's up to the challenge — if she can convince voters to elect her.

One of the secrets to success in that endeavor involves members of the press continuing to ignore Mrs. Clinton's likely frequent mistakes while ignoring her virtually universally acknowledged corrupt past.

Just for giggles, maybe someone should ask Mrs. Clinton why it took her over a decade to admit that she was not named after the first guy to climb Mt. Everest. The New York Times played along with Mrs. Clinton's fabulism until October 2006.
