GOP Wants to 'Turn Poor People Into Mulch,' Claims Ever-Inane Stephanie Miller

What is it about left wingers and their fantasies of mass murder?

I'd venture a guess you've noticed the same thing and find it just as peculiar and revealing. Latest example -- libtalker Stephanie Miller and coat-catcher sidekicks on her radio show. (audio clip after page break)

Here's how the conversation went about House Speaker John Boehner rejecting the Obama administration's initial proposal to avoid the fiscal cliff (h/t, audio, Brian Maloney at mrctv.org) --

CO-HOST JIM WARD (imitating Boehner): They're not serious, they're going to get rid of Medicare and welfare and kill all the poor people. That's the only thing that's gonna work. Instead of taking a victory lap because he's so popular.

MILLER: That's our starting position.

PRODUCER CHRIS LAVOIE: Yeah.

MILLER: Turn poor people into mulch. Reasonable, why won't the president get serious?

WARD (again imitating Boehner): That's a balanced approach.

LAVOIE: Hey, that is a solution.

MILLER: I made a chart -- poor person, wood chipper.

WARD (still imitating Boehner): Just kill all the poor people and then we'll have a balanced approach, but you won't do that 'cause you're so popular.

LAVOIE: And we'll have mulch. And so it's a win-win, sure. We need mulch.

MILLER: And new things will grow.

LAVOIE: Yeah.

MILLER: New rich things.

Got that? When Republicans don't agree with the president, it's because they want to slaughter the poor -- en masse. You know, kinda like the Nazis.

Something else I've noticed about liberals in media since the fiscal cliff negotiations began -- they'd rather vilify Republicans than cite specifically what the Obama administration is proposing. Some of those specifics -- cuts to entitlements -- get vague in a hurry. Obama "embraced the goal of finding $400 billion in savings from Medicare and other social programs to be worked out next year, with no guarantees," according to the New York Times, emphasis added. (subscription needed to access Nov. 29 story).

Don't hold your breath waiting for liberals like Miller to mention another Obama administration pitch calling for Congress "to give up its control of the nation's debt limit," The Daily Caller's Neil Munro reports.  No, Miller prefers to conjure up ominous images of wood chippers just over the horizon. Whatever it takes to keep her amused.
