To arrive at the best of the year's worst in bias, the MRC commissioned a panel of 46 radio talk show hosts, magazine editors, columnists, editorial writers, and expert media observers to select their choices for the first, second and third best quote from a slate of five to eight quotes in each category.
Each judge was also asked to choose a “Quote of the Year” denoting the most outrageous quote of 2010.

The winner of that award was none other than Chris Matthews for his September 7 reprisal of his infamous 2008 "thrill up my leg" line.
Said Bozell:
This is the quote that made the guy famous in 2008 and came to personify everything wrong with the sycophantic, pro-Obama press. If I were Chris Matthews, I would forget I ever mentioned that thrill-up-my-leg remark. What does he do? He doubles down.
Among the other awards, the "Fox & Friends" crew highlighted The Barbra Streisand Political IQ Award for Celebrity Vapidity. This year's dishonor goes to Rob Reiner for comparing the Tea Party movement to the Nazi Party.
"He's a great actor, great director, great writer... Rob, stick to what you know best. Or, visit a Tea Party, because you'll know that you just made a national fool out of yourself," Bozell reacted to the winning quote.
