Near the end of his livestream Wednesday afternoon, Former CNN White House correspondent-turned-shrieking Substack charlatan Jim Acosta reacted to the stunning news of Karoline Leavitt’s resignation at month’s end as White House press secretary, wondering she actually left “on her own volition” and asserting she was a top performer in “the Bullshit Olympics” and “the Tom Brady” or “GOAT...of lying on behalf of Donald Trump.”
He also ghoulishly asserted she should be banned from any government pension and mocked The Conservateur founder Jayme Franklin as “buzzer girl” or “the zapper” to the President being “the napper” during Monday’s announcement about childhood vaccines.
After quipping about wanting to “light a candle for Karoline Leavitt,” he first speculated without evidence he wasn’t sure if Leavitt was “[given] a choice in this” or was leaving “on her own volition” (even though she left to spend more time with her family) and invited his subscribers to submit to his team “your favorite Karoline Levitt lie.”

“[W]orking for Donald Trump is sort of like performing in the Lie Olympics, the Bullshit Olympics, you know, you really got to go for the gold if you’re going to be, you know, held in high regard in Trump World,” he belched, comparing Sean Spicer to Mark Spitz before Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Kayleigh McEnany each tried “going for gold” as “the biggest liar of all time.”
It was here he took his shot at Franklin by chuckling at a commenter wondering if “buzzer girl” is “replacing” Leavitt. Apparently, Franklin’s rubbing of her pregnant belly has become a far-left conspiracy theory she was gesturing or using a zapper to keep the President awake:
Jim Acosta mocks @JaymeFranklin16 as “Buzzer Girl” and “The Zapper” to Donald Trump’s “Napper” at the President’s executive order signing on the vaccine schedule, but insists she’s “not a femabot” who “zap[ped] Trump awake”...

Even in denouncing it as not true, Acosta took a shot at her: “[W]e have to dispel that myth that it’s not — she’s not a fembot with, like, a little button that zaps Trump awake.”
Acosta finally refocused by expressing his doubts about Leavitt when she was announced for the job after the 2024 election: “I thought, you know, I don’t know, is she ready for prime time? She’s going to have to do the special exercises that they do inside the Trump White House to really hone their skills at lying to the American people. But by golly, she put in the work, and she has — she has shown some results.”
But Leavitt proved Acosta wrong and laid claim to, in his opinion, the title of “by far the biggest and most effective and most shameless liar that Donald Trump has ever had as White House press secretary”:
WATCH: Jim Acosta says @KarolineLeavitt will go down as “the Tom Brady” or “GOAT...of lying on behalf of Donald Trump” because “she has shown some results” as “the biggest, and most effective, and most shameless liar that Donald Trump has ever had”....

Following an aside from a commenter joking Secretary of State Marco Rubio should also have to take on the role (in addition to his litany of other jobs), Acosta contradicted himself from earlier with the Spicer-Spitz comparison because he told viewers he didn’t “want to use Olympic athlete’s name to describe — you know, somebody of this nature because then it’s sort of negatively associating somebody with — with that.”
Instead, he compared Leavitt to Tom Brady, the GOAT:
Karoline Leavitt is sort of, and I don’t want to use Olympic athlete’s name to describe — you know, somebody of this nature because then it’s sort of negatively associating somebody with — with that. But — but I do think that Karoline Leavitt has really shown herself to be — I’ll — I’ll use Tom Brady’s, and I don’t like Tom Brady. She’s sort of the Tom Brady of — she’s the GOAT. I think she’s got the six Super Bowl rings now, or is it seven or whatever it is of lying on behalf of Donald Trump, so you can — you can write off into the sunset.
Acosta wrapped by speculating she may have left because she is another one of the “rats...starting to jump ship” as White House aide “see what is coming this November and the size of the — the title wave that is building at this point and they want to jump off this ship as quickly as possible before they get tossed — tossed around at sea like — like — Matt Damon — in The Odyssey or something.”
Jim Acosta closed his Wednesday afternoon stream by saying @KarolineLeavitt shouldn’t be allowed to have a government pension, again speculated she left the White House because she’s “like, shit, I’m out of here” because she sees “what is coming this November and the size of the… pic.twitter.com/CZjEQybYbq

“She’ll probably get to keep her pension somehow. For Christ’s sake, that — that should not be legal, but somehow she will keep that — that federal employee pension. But we wish Karoline Leavitt all the best as she rides off to the sunset of former White House press secretaries. We’ll see how — we’ll have to see how she ends up coming down the road,” he concluded, scoffing at those who serve in the Trump administration receiving any sort of retirement benefit.
