A new example of scandal-plagued Maine Democrat Senate Candidate Graham Platner’s contempt for human life came to light Saturday when his social media post mocking a teen girl’s suicide attempt resurfaced.
“Someone clearly isn’t trying hard enough,” Reddit commenter P-Hustle (Platner’s screen name) replied to an image of a young man trying to save a teenage girl hanging out of an upper-story window in a social media post obtained by The New York Post.
Platner’s comment about a girl’s suicide is just the latest social media post is just the latest in a series of callous comments about death to be reported in recent weeks.
Last month, a vulgar 2019 Reddit post on Platner’s account declaring that Purple Heart recipient Pfc. Ted Daniels – who had been shot four times by Taliban fighters in 2012 – “didn’t deserve to live” was unearthed, as Fox News reported:
“‘This video never gets old,’ the Reddit account ‘P-Hustle’ — which Platner has acknowledged he owned — posted in June 2019, in reference to a viral video from the helmet cam of Pfc. Ted Daniels taken during a clash with Taliban fighters in 2012 that ended in Daniels being shot four times. He earned a Purple Heart for his injuries.
"Dumb motherf----- didn't deserve to live. At least his stupidity and fat a-- wheezing are available for all future infantrymen to witness and hold in contempt. Poor marksmanship on the Taliban's part is the only reason this mouthbreather made it home, he managed to make every possible s--- decision possible when it comes to small unit combat."
"People like this don't say stuff like this to my face," Pfc. Daniels told Fox News in a follow-up interview. "It's online, and that right there tells me, Graham, you're a coward."
"Thank you for your service, Graham, but I think you’re a scumbag personally," Daniels said, slamming the Democrat Senate candidate for attacking other soldiers, including "American Sniper" and former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, whom Platner previously accused of killing civilians to inflate his numbers.
In April, a report by Jewish Insider exposed a 2014 Reddit post by Platner in which he praised a Hamas terror attack into Israel that killed at least five Israeli soldiers. “I dig it,” Platner wrote, commenting on video of the Hamas attack, calling it “a damn fine looking and successful raid against a superior opponent.”
Platner has a tattoo of a Nazi SS symbol, which he has covered up, but not removed.
