The current conflict between the U.S. and Iran had provided ABC co-host Sunny Hostin ample opportunity to be able express her deep-seat anti-Americansim. During Friday’s episode of The View, Hostin suggested that America, not Iran was the worst nuclear threat to the world because we had used them in WWII. Additionally, on Thursday’s episode, she demonstrated her willful ignorance of how the cost of the conflict was tabulated as she whined that the money could be better spent on the usual litany of liberal pet projects.
CNBC anchor Sara Eisen was still at the table on Friday, guest co-hosting while Alyssa Farah Griffin was out on maternity leave.
As the rest of the left leaning cast was focused on the short-term instability with gas prices (when Biden was president they repeatedly told Americans just to suck it up), Eisen was making the case that the world would be better off in the long run without an Iran run by a terrorist regime with nuclear ambitions.
Upon hearing this argument, Hostin shot back with the historical note that America was the only county to use a nuclear weapon during a conflict:
EISEN: We're fighting the fight so the fight later is not more extreme for our children to have a nuclear power -
BEHAR (interrupting): But that particular - let me ask you something.
EISEN: - with those people who do not value life.
HOSTIN: I think we can also agree that this country is the only country that has ever used a nuclear weapon! This country! This country!
Of course, Hostin was relying on an old Soviet/Communist attack on America to suggest we’re the country that was a danger since we used them once before. It also sounded similar to when she and moderator Whoopi Goldberg claimed last year that being black in America was worse than living in Iran.
The View's Sunny Hostin suggests America is worse and more of a threat to the world than Iran because the U.S. nuked Japan 80 years ago (if that's not her intent, then why even bring it up?):

But that was over 80 year ago and it was because of that usage that humanity was able to truly understand how horrific nuclear weapons were. It’s why America had since adopted a retaliatory strike policy for any future use of nukes. Iran on the other hand, not as trustworthy.
On Thursday, Hostin had another rant about how the military supposedly had no plan at all for dealing with Iran. “And I think that there was no plan to end this war. It's very easy to get into a war. Very hard to get out of it. No plan to get out. Not even concepts of a plan to get out,” she declared.
The rant quickly spiraling into a full-blown meltdown, with Hostin shouting about how the money could be better spent on a litany of liberal social pet projects:
And let's talk about the fact that It's already costing us, I think, $12.9 billion already spent on a war that's illegal and unconstitutional! You know what you could do with $12.9 million [sic]?! Healthcare for 1.3 million Americans! A full year! A full year of food assistance for 5.5 million Americans! Housing assistance for around 1 million Americans! The entire National Park Service could have been funded for 12 billion! Child care for 900,000 children! Pell grants for 1.6 million students! Pay more than 100,000, teachers, nurses! WE! SHOULD! NOT! BE! DOING! THIS!
Not so Sunny Hostin RAGES over the conflict with Iran. She claims there is no plan whatsoever and shouts about how a better use of the money would be to fund liberal pet projects:

“Don't apologize. You're giving information you have. We don't have to apologize,” Goldberg reassured her after her tantrum petered out.
Hostin’s whining was all performative and how she was describing the spending was a lie. That $12.9 billion cost was largely the cost of expendable equipment that was already purchased and sitting in the U.S. military’s inventory, i.e. missiles, rockets, torpedoes, fuel. est.

SUNNY HOSTIN: I think this is a lot more about a lot more than oil. And I think that there was no plan to end this war. It's very easy to get into a war. Very hard to get out of it. No plan to get out. Not even concepts of a plan to get out.
And let's talk about the fact that It's already costing us, I think, $12.9 billion already spent on a war that's illegal and unconstitutional! You know what you could do with $12.9 million [sic]?! This is hurting the American people! It's much more than the price of gas! It's much more than that.
WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Well.
HOSTIN: Sorry.
GOLDBERG: No, you're not. No, you're not. Don't apologize. You're giving information you have. We don't have to apologize.
HOSTIN: Thank you, Whoopi.
GOLDBERG: Not ever.
